Why all at once?

It seems like over the past couple weeks Scribble Hub's been getting a lot of new users advertising stories they've written when they can barely speak English. Is it just a coincidence that so many of them are trying to join at the same time, or is this some kind of coordinated bot invasion? Or, option C, is it always like this, and I just haven't been paying enough attention to notice?

I think some of us jokingly concluded it must be some sort of holiday somewhere?

Wow. So we all point a finger at a fraud, get the fella to admit it, but no locks. Violate the localized language though? That feels like a weird priority when we got translation tools but nothing to see through a scam. Am I alone on this?

I understand that SH is english based, so no foreign language in any written work is always the policy.

However, I want to write a conversation between an Englishman, a Chinese, and a Malay with them using their own mother tongue like how Vinland Saga did.

For the Chinese and Malay, most likely I will MTL to traditional chinese aka the fucked up pictographs and bahasa melayu aka drunkened english.

I think for melayu, it should be fine in SH considering it is just scrambled alphabets. But would it be fine for the weird chinese characters in SH or do I need to take a step back and use hanyu pinyi instead?

Why would you want to do that? I'm still laughing at the scene in the original Mothra where the American ambassador (literally a stereotyped Texan) and the Japanese ambassador, are talking to each other in their native languages (i.e. the Japanese guy speaks Japanese, the Texan speaks whatever passes for English in most of Texas) and they pause between each line, almost as if reading the subtitles, but otherwise have a normal conversation. Sure this could happen with modern earbuds and very good interpreters NOW but this movie was from the mid sixties...

I'm still laughing at the scene in the original Mothra where the American ambassador (literally a stereotyped Texan) and the Japanese ambassador, are talking to each other in their native languages (i.e. the Japanese guy speaks Japanese, the Texan speaks whatever passes for English in most of Texas) and they pause between each line, almost as if reading the subtitles, but otherwise have a normal conversation. Because the point is to make it confusing for both MC and readers.

Interested users will toss it into a translator.
Not interested users will skim the chapter or drop the story as a whole.
In both cases, you won't get what you were hoping for, so either write it in plain English and mark that it was said in another language, or write in another language but provide a translation using either spoiler or annotation.
