Hello there, I'm Shorgoth. I'm a cyberpunk writer... or at least I've been trying to be for the past 17 or 18 years at this point. I think I'm on my last stretch to actually write the damn thing, though. It took a while to develop my own voice as a writer, and lately, AI offered me the capacity to do something I couldn't do by myself: add music and images to complement the text extensively. I'm experimenting with a new medium of sort, I call it AI-graft. Basically, the novel is all mine, but I'm using AI to generate a large volume of support material to a degree that would have needed over a hundred of million of dollars in the past. I'm adding 1.3 (on average) songs per chapter, minimum 1 and 2-5 images (maybe more in the future, once AI is more cooperative with precise art directions)+ 1 per song (album cover) None of these are one prompt and done, this a long itterative process with clear direction, not a wishy washy "heh good enough"... though, admitedly they are all "place holders until I get better results" like my own writing XD
This novel is my life's work; it's not a summer read, it's a deep psychological, sociological and philosophical exploration of the nature of consciousness, in finding meaning in an absurd Universe, on trauma and healing, but is disguised as a gritty first-person cyberpunk with deeply personal stakes until a few reveals recontextualize the whole story into something different. This is partly why it has been so long to write; every reading level needs to work independently without harming the other, and needs to have good flow and be interesting at the same time.
By the way, how do people link their novels in their signatures around these parts? I'm not good with that part of tech...
