Call me Cyni (pronounced shy-ni).

Gamer at heart - CS2, Valorant, and more, lowkey 7bit Ryan watcher. Also into design and coding.

Still new to novel writing, but deeply into manhwa, manga, anime, movies, and series.

I enjoy stories with depth - anything from Christopher Nolan hits to action-packed anime. Demon Slayer used to be my top pick, but after finishing Fire Force, that’s my new favorite.

Favorite genres (random fav picked):
  • Sci-Fi - Dark, Interstellar
  • Psychological - Berserk, Parasyte
  • Thriller - Silent Hill, Se7en
  • Action - Pacific Rim, Marvel/DC stuff
  • Romcom - Horimiya, Business Proposal
  • (And lately… K-pop Demon Hunter, because why not?)
Currently writing my debut sci-fi novel titled Axolotl Directive.
If you like experimental, character-driven science fiction, drop a review - always hungry for improvement.
Updated weekly. Wise Yapper. Diverse listener -pop, edm, k-pop, j-pop and god knows what as per Spotify.

Call me Avarice since that -of the seven- part is just there to sound cool.

Dunno what my hobbies are since I'm rather moody and my hobbies change very frequently.

My favorite novel? No idea. I like a lot of novels for different reasons and can't put one above the others. But I like stories that are enjoyable from the start and become slightly deep or philosophical in the middle. But I usually read anything that's good. Doesn't matter the type.

Hi everyone,

Happy to be here and introduce myself!

Name: AssassinCat
Hobbies/interests: Traveling, reading, gaming, and dabbling in writing from time to time.
Genres you read often: Sci-fi / Fantasy and Mystery.
Your favourite novel: A Song of Ice and Fire series and the Hyperion Cantos (by Dan Simmons). I'm especially drawn to epic world-building and intricate plots — both series masterfully create vast, immersive universes that keep me completely hooked.

Looking forward to exploring amazing stories and chatting with everyone here!

Hi everyone,

You can call me Jazalh.
I’m a writer interested in dark, psychological narratives, especially stories where survival, memory, and identity intersect. Outside of writing, I’m drawn to folklore, wilderness settings, and long-form storytelling that takes its time to let pressure build rather than rushing toward spectacle.

Genres / tags I read most often:
Dark Fantasy, Psychological, Survival, Horror (atmospheric rather than jump-scare), LitRPG with consequences, Character-driven stories, Slow Burn.

Favourite read (and why):
One book that stayed with me deeply is The Road by Cormac McCarthy. Not for its plot, but for how it treats endurance, silence, and love under extreme pressure. It showed me how much can be conveyed with restraint, and how survival stories can be intimate rather than heroic.

My last read was Wilderness by Lance Weller, which completely floored me for its quiet brutality, emotional restraint, and the way it lets landscape and memory carry as much weight as action.

I’m equally drawn to Dostoïevsky, Proust, and Céline, for their shared ability to dissect the human mind, memory, and moral fracture from radically different angles.

Stories I’m currently writing on Scribble Hub:
I’ve just started posting Blackstone, a dark LitRPG survival story built around mirrored progression between an in-game system and a character’s past. It focuses on atmosphere, violence with consequences, and long-term character growth rather than power fantasy.

I’m here mainly to read, learn, and engage with other writers and readers who enjoy serious, layered fiction. Looking forward to discovering new stories and exchanging perspectives.

Hi all, thought i'd pop over and indroduce myself, i've been reading for a while but thought i'd add a story i started a few years back but never quite got round to finishing. thanks to others on here i've got my mojo back and have been writing away.

wasnt sure if my story would go down well on here as it is a bit heavy on the smut, ive always liked transformation and transfic stories, so if you do too you might like it. its called Camming down the Rabbit Hole, currently on chapter 4, but i've already written 13 and there will be more to come

I guess I'll introduce myself, even if it's a bit late. I'm a writer that's obsessed with overworking myself and not sleeping.
Name: Wamba2K. You can call me whatever you want, just don't call me washed. (I'll cry)
Hobbies/interests: I'm a crap gamer. I love playing games but I suck at most of them. I also love making video edits of movies and shows on Tiktok.
Genres you read often/tags you often look for:
I'm a bit new to the online reading scene, so I haven't developed any tags I'm into yet. But I know I love broad worlds and characters that make me think. I've been checking out some litrpg stuff (especially since I'm writing one myself) and I also adore romance stories, mostly the tragic ones.
Your favourite novel/read and WHY:
Lonesome dove. It's genuinely such a powerful story with some of the most painfully real characters I've ever read. I've read it a dozen times and listened to it probably at least thirty times on audible. (The other books in the series are good, too, but Lonesome Dove is special in my eyes)
What I'm doing: Currently working on what's gonna be a massive pokemon fanfiction and a fantasy story with litrpg elements and two women sharing a body. I've also got a slowburn romance that's cooking in the 'twelve hour' posting window, so it isn't visible yet but should show up sometime today.
Then add anything you like:
Josh Hutcherson is goated.
That's all.

Hi everyone,
Pleasure to make your acquaintance (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶)

Please call me LazyScript.
As the name suggests, I've put off reading and writing for way too long now. At this point, you could say I'm as beginner as can be. However, it's never too late to start, so that's why I'm here!

Favourite genres:
  • fantasy
  • comedy
  • mystery
  • romance
  • psychological thriller
  • ... and possibly more
Currently working on a few short stories and a fantasy+historical novel (that's not out yet, sorry). I will say I'm a really bad procrastinator, so a little support might help to motivate me (⸝⸝>؂•̀⸝⸝)✧

Looking forward to fun discussions and fantastical adventures!

Hi hi, I'm Renne!

I've been on the site proper now for a few months but never really poked the forum, so I'm doing that now. Dunno how often I'll use it, but I got the urge to do an intro anyway because I've found the community pretty nice so far in comments.

For starters, lots of the novels I like reading tend to fall into two niches: MtF (male to female) wish fulfillment stories and alternate history stuff like Man in the High Castle/dreary dystopian stuff like 1984. Most of what I actually read, however, ends up being Visual Novels. A few of note that I'm particularly fond of are The House in Fata Morgana and Stella of the End.

I game a bit, but I think it's more interesting socially to mention that I draw and write. Currently I'm writing "A Requiem for Black Lilies" - - not a terribly original title, no, but at least it's pretty and rolls off the tongue - - and I've drawn a few sketches for that too. I doubt it'd be most people's cuppa because it's a bit slow-paced and the chapters run quite long, but feel free to give it a shot if you think something that feels like a novel from the 1950s with absolutely no awareness of modern sensibilities sounds fun to you, lmao.

That's all. Thank you for the hospitality, and be well~.

Hi all! Totally new here, transplant from other platforms. My name is Rachel and I write fantasy novels. I love reading high fantasy, horror and suspense though. I’m posting my first novel, The Goblin King of Eldoria on the site. Currently working on book 3 in the series. I look forward to seeing all the great stories out there and hope add to my reading list and make some acquaintances along the way.

My real name is Chris, but my online name is Gutter Ratt. It's my name in most of the online games I play.

Hobbies: Playing online video games: Escape from Tarkov, Arc Raiders, War Thunder, etc... I also sew. Yes, so. My wife and I do craft shows, and we make and sew different items to sell. We don't use it as a main income; it's mostly used for vacations and fun money...

The genre I enjoy is fantasy. Mainly cultivation epic fantasies. Give me a fantasy story with a smart-mouthed protagonist and some romance mixed in, and I am good. I am finishing up an epic fantasy novel called Dragon Prince Yuan. I have read Battle Through the Heavens, Martial Universe, and The Great Ruler, which are in the same universe. I have also read the Harry Potter series over a dozen times.

I would love to write a book someday, but I'm not that creative and have no idea how to do it myself. I am leaning into using AI to help me write it. (I know, I said a bad word but it's just another tool if used properly.) And in my opinion, the tool isn't the issue; it's how you use it.

Yess I'm a newbie ✌️

I recently started publishing a web novel. It's a romance novel. And I work rotating shifts, and balancing work with writing my novel is really exhausting.
☹️
Hi there!
It definitely can be exhausting. Sometimes the only time I get to write is between 9-12 pm. Then I’m back up for work at 5am. The fact that you still work on writing even though your exhaustion shows real commitment!
