My 6-year-old declared it the "best Christmas ever".

Also I woke up to 22 random new views, which is a pretty notable day for me.
Gratz. The kid declaration wins Christmas. Forever. Until next year, when he/she (?) declares that to be the best ever.

It even wins out over what made me happy today (by a long shot. Like... No competition. Kid wins hands down).
First one of my series to break 500 views total, and it did more than half of that within 24 hours of Chapter 1's release. (Aestelle Nocte: A Harem Sci-Fi Story)

Okay this didn't happen today but a couple of days ago.

Went over to a friend's house. This friend and his wife have known me since I weighed 235 lbs and that's the heaviest I'd ever been and felt like absolute hell for it. He was there when I started changing up what I ate. That was roughly about five or six years ago. I borrowed his scale. I now weigh 185. The weight loss was slow but I didn't put it on overnight, I wasn't gonna take it off overnight so big plus there.

The happy thing that happened today was that I finished Draven's Homecoming today. The Nocturneverse chapter By The Light of The Moon pt 5: These Monsters Are Real was posted and let me tell you, writing that was like belly crawling through broken glass, hot sand, rock salt then a cool dip in 91% isopropyl alcohol just to soothe it all.

Why was that a happy thing? Because it's over. The weight of that one is off but it's still not done yet, there's more on the way...an 8 hour plane ride is always interesting aboard a huge private jet full of vampires with their demons stowing away.

Aethara has also hit the 500 views milestone, with slow, but steady, progress.
The Elarian Chronicles (Duskfall) has also gotten almost 20 readers now within only days of release.
Chapter 1.2 (the second half of chapter 1) is also on schedule for January 1st release.

I've also got a few bits in the works for Aestelle Nocte's next chapter entry as well. Just waiting to see if there's going to be more input before I get to work on writing that next chapter.

The child turned the squatty potty upside-down and played with it when I told him that he could wash his own anus, or I could do it in ten minutes.

The child is pretending to be various robots made by a robot made by a robot made by a robot made by a robot . . . . made by a robot that he made.

While playing "Duel" with my child, which is a cross between Duel Monsters and Pillow Fight with stuffies, he said, "This is Math Dog. He can raise your lifepoints when you are feeling down." Then, he gave himself a Math Wolf, and we traded a few times. They work the same, just make different sound effects.

This made me feel very good because it shows my child is developing a positive relationship with math.

Kid gave enthusiastic "Yes" to a swimsuit I showed him online. That was easy.
