Hey post that meme about someone being wrong on the internet. I'm too lazy to post it.

I am asking you questions because I think you are wrong. Simple. Plus, you started by quoting me buddy
I have not quoted you even once in this thread. And if you are bothered by not being able to "call me out when you think I'm wrong," then you should have thought of that before you decided to engage in targeted harrassment over an extended period of time.

That last @ I sent on you was the first time I've engaged with you in this thread, and it was to ask you to stop. So, guess what. That means stop. Any and all interaction with you is unwelcome.
So it's insignificant, isn't it? We all die first before we see a big blunt appear on earth.

Also, no. I am actually asking you because I want to know just how impactful the earth expansion is to my life.

Yes, it's an insignificant amount of growth. The point, in my original post, was that the video was "The earth is growing conspyracy: Debunked." But, it's observably true that teeny, tiny, insignificant amounts of growth ARE happening in the form of asteroids and spacedust, and that means the conclusion "the earth is growing" is true.

So, the conspiracy theory that the video is debunking must have a bat-shit insane premise and timescale if the conclusion is true, but the overall theory is messed up enough that debunking is possible.

And if your question is about how impactful it is, then the answer is "not at all." You are going to see more change in regards to tectonic shifts in your lifetime than you will from the slow and gradual mass accumulation of the Earth pulling in asteroids and space dust.

(That said, maybe I should go watch the video. Considering some of the very strange reactions I've gotten to pointing out this obvious truth, it might actually turn out that the "debunking" side are the conspiracy theorists, on the same level as flat earthers.)

Oh, that was your video then? Really? I just saw the title and was dumbfounded by how something true could possibly be debunked.

That said, I've now gotten about 2 minutes 30 seconds into the video, and.... wow is the theory dumb. Yes, it's not using asteroid accumulation. WTF? They also think that plate tectonics don't exist and the ocean was something that grew as well?

At any rate, since I know you're a professional troll, I'm pretty sure you planted this video as bate and you actually know astroid accumulation is a thing, and that everything I'm saying about the conspiracy theory's conclusion being true despite the premise being absolutely laughable is not only factual, but it was your entire point in posting this video.

Rent free. I am honestly starting to worry about your mental health.

And no, I explained my views all in this thread, rebutting everything. It is up to you. If you have the mental courage to read it and face it.

But I know how you wont because being wrong is not in your dictionary.

Right, that's the general mean-spirited Corty I know. It's baffling to me how you can claim you are "living rent free in my head" when all I'm doing is just saying "would you please leave me alone."

At any rate, you are well known on the forum as a professional troll, so nothing you say can be trusted. Anything and everything you say will be viewed through the lens of shit stirring. Don't like it, well, you can start by being a better person. And I am not going to even touch your so-called "evidence." We both know that's going to result in nothing but you trying to figure out how to interpret my attempts at a civil conversation in the most illogically bat-shit charactaturizations imaginable.

If you actually think I need to be taken down a peg, go find one of your more civil friends and ask them to debate me for you. If you have any, that is. I can't imagine a person as generally horrible as you having any civil-minded friends.

Now, I'm sorry I replied to you back there. That's not an apology to you, that's my past self apologizing to the me of right now. A "sorry I asked" sort of sentiment. It's simply that I saw something so baffling that I just had to respond to it before I even looked into it properly. I will have to make a point of being more attentive in the future.

Conspiracy: Money is not real. People are just collectively fooling themselves into it having value.

(tries to get thread back on track)

I know quite a few of them.

One deals with gigantic mountain-sized trees. Those plateaus that have flat tops are mountain-sized tree stumps that have been turned into stone.

Another one deals with the nephilim that are represented as clowns/clown-like depictions throughout human history and folklore.

And then there are the orphan trains in 19th century/early-20th century America and mass repopulations incubator babies symbolized by the cabbage patch kids.

Then there's this one about Tartaria and the Millennial Kingdom.

Then there's the real-life men in black that threaten UFO witnesses and alien abductees.

And then there's this one that claims that oil scarcity is a scam and that oil is not from fossils but is an inorganic and sentient substance that causes human conflict.

Then there's reports of skin-walkers, goat men, dog men, bigfoot, unusual disappearances, slenderman, etc.

You just reminded me of the moon landing conspiracy theory.
I actually saw an explanation for that before I ever heard the "theory" itself... NASA could not get images from the flight to the public in "real time" due to limitations of the technology of the time so they used photos of training sessions in the desert as "fill ins" during the initial broadcasts and replaced them with actual footage of the landing as soon as they had them. But some older copies still exist, so the conspiracy never goes away.
Unfortunately I live with one. It's so bad she thinks 5G and vaccines are evil or whatever. And absolutely everything has some hidden meaning.
I did not believe vaccines were evil until I had a two year long (almost to the day) reaction to the second dose of the Covid vaccine (had arm pain and mobility limited exactly like it is now with a hairline fracture just below where the rotator cuff connects). Now I cannot help being a little suspicious of the things...
Like no, not every 'circle with 4 lines coming out' is nazi symbolism. For that matter every conspiracy trying to make everything symbolic of evil conveniently forget the fact that a swastika never originally stood for nazi in the first place. It was a hindu symbol of prosperity for god's sake. Then it got rotated 45 degrees and you know the rest.
The rotated version was also present in Celtic symbology as "The Sun Cross" - a symbol of life. And apparently both versions showed up in at least three different cultures over the centuries as there was a different meaning attached to the not-rotated version in Armenia, and at least two other meanings I ran into before it was "corrupted" in the 1930s.
