Ok, I haven't watched the video, but how would they debunk the idea that the Earth is growing? I suppose you could debunk the particular model of the Earth's growth that the conspiracy theory they're discussing proposes, but the Earth actually IS accumulating space debris. Every asteroid that burns up in the Earth's atmosphere adds a few hundred pounds to Earth's mass. So, it actually IS growing over an extremely long period of time.

The conspiracy theory version of the reason the Earth is growing must have an insane premise in order for it to even be possible to debunk something for which the conclusion is actually true.

Question:

Humans have rights and obligations, right? I discovered that when a baby was born into the world, he/she had the right to be born and at the same time, the obligation to be born.

How can we get our rights and at the same time the responsibility to get the rights?

If earth were to grow, what's the sign of it?

I feel like with the amount of space dust and asteroids that land on Earth, it should technically be expanding due to more mass.
Even if you coat the planet in dust to the stratosphere, the planet is not expanding... what the fuck is wrong with you all? Watch the video first because you guys start hurt my brain. The earth is not a balloon to be inflated.

It is a sad day when I am the voice of reason. I am supposed to be a jokester.
I was referring to my previous reply.
There is a theory. If you believe in one conspiracy theory, just one, you are normal. Doesn't matter how wild or crazy it is, if you believe in just one, you are ok. If you believe in more than one, that means you are batshit crazy.
They've made their choice.

If you dump a bucket of water into the ocean, you just added a bucket of water to the ocean, and the ocean grew by that much. It's not a meaningful amount of growth, but it actually IS growth.

The sign of the earth growing is things being added to earth. Things ARE being added to earth, they are called asteroids and space dust.

You do realize, that the earth's circumference, including the atmosphere, stays the same as before that happened?

Even if we get showered by space-bukkake, and we accumulate an earth-pimple the size of Mt Olympus from Mars, from the outside perspective, we are still the same size and smooth as marble. The exosphere, which is the last line that belongs to earth is at 10,000km height.

Hypothetically, let's say you fill the earth with space dust because it was a gangbang party; the moment matter gets out of that range, guess what? Solar winds will blow the fucker off, and we remain the same size.

The Earth is not expanding. No matter what semantics or Hegalian dialects you try to use from Niche and Kant that you heard while playing New Vegas. What you are saying is so stupid because you don't realize that you are filling an oblate spheroid with matter, keeping its size the same altogether... yet you used the bucket analogy, lol.

What the fuck are you guys smoking? Gimme some.

Holy fuck, some people need to stop trying to champion something idiotic just to try and flex their nonexistent knowledge. I'm done, I'll just keep trolling instead, that gives me less headache.

I told someone this story before, but I used to work with satellites orbiting Earth. Funnily enough, there was someone where I worked who was a flat-earther. I wish I was making it up. Needless to say, the person had very little clue how the equipment even worked.

Then... Why do we have no more land? Are you telling me that only the ocean expands and not the land too?

I'm siding with Corty, again.

I mean, he got a point there.

And also, if Earth is growing as we type, where are the signs of it?
Who gave them to us?
This'll get religious, so if you don't want to, we can stop here and now.

It’s not about inflation, it’s the definition of expansion.

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

It's still not expanding. It's being filled up if you are so inclined to pull a J-move on me and start being pedantic.
Okay, so it’s called “filled up” because expansion is like inflation?

I’m just trying to understand you here because semantics are never a good argument.

The EARTH expanding would mean that the planet is expanding. Does the earth expand? Is our planet getting bigger as millions of years pass by? Does our gravity change? Does our core burn three times as hot as the sun's surface to supplement something like that? And more importantly, do other planets expand? If not, why not?

I know, I am biting onto the bait, and the worm is doing laps in my tummy, but oh well. There are times when the hangman gets hanged.
