Good to know, thanks for the normal reply. However people's actual works HAVE been taken down. Either way it just seems like greedy Patreon authors trying to axe their competition in an easy way. Modern day witch hunt.Just so you know when the og authors translate their own work, then that work is considered an original translation, and that's allowed but you must get in contact with the admin beforehand to smooth things out. Translations made by others who aren't the original authors are not allowed. .
bruh you have no idea how scared I was to see that I was tagged in a "ban wave" thread xDJust the translations and smut. AI generated stuff like what the former @RavensQuill impersonator who now called himself Rhys_Arden published are still here.
And every goyim who noticed I am racist is an antisemite. This is accurate.
None of the authors had any real say in this decision. However, you do bring up a good point about greedy Patreons. Personally, I think every "translator" who posted a "translation" of someone's original work hosted on Qidian or any other Chinese novel hosting site without permission and then set up a Patreon to make money off someone else's work without their permission should be subject to legal action.Good to know, thanks for the normal reply. Yet you are here on a random forum crying like a random little bitch.Hey OP.
Bummer, though it was a bug at first, but after a couple days dug around to find this forum to see what was up.
Find a bunch of people being gleeful assholes over other people being confused about poorly communicated changes and misused http error codes.
Anyway OP I also found the website sudenly lying with HTTP ERROR:404 about a story it still clearly listed and allowed to update to be confusing.
A brief review of the stories remaining on the site (followed by a scalding shower) quickly clarifies why they are so happy to ban competition though. AND why they think anyone would waste their time reading some random websites TOS or their forum drivel, because it's probably less mind numbing than their stories.
It's illegal to profit off someone else's work. You don't need to read a "random" website's ToS or a forum to know that. Translations posted by the original author of the work are allowed. All this rule enforcement did was temporarily cut off an avenue for "translators" profiting off stories they had no permission to "translate" or paywall.Hey OP.

Look at the bright side. At least more people know the forum existed now.Hey OP.

I could of told you how dumb the average reader was 5 years ago.I should start "translating" Qidian novels and set up a Patreon. It seems I've been grossly overestimating the intelligence of the average reader.

I try to assume everyone is generally intelligent until it's proven otherwise :[I could of told you how dumb the average reader was 5 years ago.
Never assume I am intelligent.I try to assume everyone is generally intelligent until it's proven otherwise
