get it coz he is a merman...
This is really hard to answer, I mean... Math goes really out of hand if we try using the 2.5G/appraisal math, for example... So uhn... Maybe it's best if we try using quests instead. Assuming 1 quest/day, in particular. How much money would you say Hejlikka and Julrik earn each is?
'-'
I'm asking cos I'm wondering if it's actually feasible that they both own houses...
...unless owning one doesn't mean you pay rent, since you own it yourself?
*doesn't know where she's going with this*

I'd say they'd earn more than an unranked adventurer, but less than a D-ranked one for sure.
Perhaps the same per day as an E-ranked would work, I just dunno if you should use the low E-rank or high E-rank as standard.
You can use these as references for later levels(Model 2):Mm...
Well, thanks for answering and trying, at least.

I was struggling to come up with a wage for them, too...

Going to rescale gold rewards from quests.
For EXP:
For Gold:
- Each quests should generally give 10 - 25% EXP necessary to level up to the next level.
- Early quests (Under level 10) should lean towards a higher rate... around 20-25%
- Later quests (Rank C+) should lean towards a lower rate... creeping down towards 15%
Here is calculation table:
- I'm shooting for an index point of potions costing 80G -- adventurers need to be able to afford potions.
- Armor and weapons will generally more expensive (see prior discussions) to match a more realistic medieval price rate.
- The formula I cam up with as follows:
- REWARD = 8 + 2 * LEVEL ^ ( 3 / 2 )
- The lower and higher bounds are taken by the square root of the mean (by poisson distribution std.dev)

Mmmmmmmm, let me try splitting this into ranks.
Model 1 rewards:
Model 2 rewards:
- Unranked: 7-29G
- E-rank: 25-70G
- D-rank: 63-123G
- C-rank: 113-259G
- B-rank: 242-517G
- A-rank: 491-945G
Mmmmmmmmm... I feel like Model 1 scales too fast, getting 70G still at E-rank feels like too much to me tbh...
- Unranked: 7-21G
- E-rank: 16-42G
- D-rank: 34-69G
- C-rank: 59-138G
- B-rank: 122-268G
- A-rank: 246-484G
On the other hand, I like getting 30G while unranked I guess... Though on yet another hand, having basic unranked quests give so little gold might incentivize people making custom quests with bigger rewards, which isn't a bad thing.
I like Model 2 more tbh~
They did! But I was dead tired when I got home! xDMm...

So, a possible wage of about 30G a day each? You can use these as references for later levels(Model 2):
I'm glad they had good days, then. They did! But I was dead tired when I got home! xD
Seems accurate to me. I'd say most people shouldn't be able to rent an entire house by themselves, so needing at least 35G/day to earn that seems like a good number to go by~So, a possible wage of about 30G a day each?
Or maybe 35G each?
Since it would be between E and D rank earnings?
Sounds feasible...
For 35G a day:
That means 1050G a month - roughly
Making it 12,600G-12,775G a year.
Taking 3650 off for daily living expenses:
8950G-9125G a year for actual income.
Taking off the 8000G yearly rent, that would leave them with a surplus of 950G-1125G every year for savings and other things.
'-'
For 30G a day:
That means 900G a month - roughly
Making it 10800G-10950G a year.
Taking 3650 off for daily living expenses:
7150G-7300G for actual income.
Meaning they wouldn't be able to afford a house each.
'-'
Have I calculated that wrong at all?

Ah, in my comment I was referring to your average everyday citizen. High rank adventurers should totally be able to rent a house on their own.Eventually: People start partying together to buy/ rent a house together:
Good: Possible Rp choices with players in the houses.

House RP seems like a good aim for Vysic. But who would share a house with him.![]()
