As an author, which character would you want to possess if you transmigrated into your fiction?

None of the MCs. Because they started poor and powerless (as in no influence) Maybe a powerful noble or a wealthy merchant.

Looking for extremely harsh feedback (Or just writing tips)

Where is the story link? You have to post that when requesting reviews. Because you can't see signatures in a mobile browser.

Hello. Could someone give me Feedback, please?

1700 words is still fair for a first chapter. But it could use some trimmings. Cut everything from "his brows twitched" onward. Levin carried her on his shoulder and she seemed small, so it's already implied that she is that small. Remove the first sentence, you don't need that. It's already...

What Genre Do You Enjoy Writing The Most?

Fantasy and slice of life. Action is optional, but I enjoy it too.

What do you look for in a "relatable" main character?

Non-omnipotent characters who still behave like normal people, even if they do gain power later. I want to see them behave and emote like normal people. I want to see them minmaxing with their limited power to solve their problems. I want to see them cooperate with other characters if their...

What genre do you struggle the most to write?

Same. I grew up watching Star Trek TNG and loved it, but for sure my limited mind can't be bothered to write something great like that.

Do every novel author react to the accident where he deleted his draft chapter with exact emotion like he launched the nuke to his motherland?

I've never lost my draft. Thankfully, plain text documents are easy to backup. But I have lost a few drawings in the past due to SSD failure. If the WIPs are lost, I won't bother redoing them again. Hopefully nothing like this happens to my manuscripts.

Writing What is the lore in your fiction?

There are so many living weapons of the ancient times feeding on people. Most are dormant, lesser ones have been terrorizing people for generations, silently. Barely any record of them survived the ancient world-scale war, so people have been referring them as demons, even though they are not...

As an author, do you promote your culture through fiction?

I do insert some SEAsian culture in my worldbuilding. Ever since I saw silat making an appearance in Kengan Ashura, I thought why not add this? So I added a country that is the whole SEAsia region rolled into one. Hence why the Filipino sounding names of some characters, and a few Indonesian...

How Does Your MC Wipe Their Ass?

    Another yes.

    Hoshi's Feedback thread

Thank you for the review. ❤️ Someone said how I need to plan the chapters ahead so I put the arc list in; I'll remove that as soon as possible. Also, I followed a guide in this very forum that "you don't need so many tags" and how dialogue tags actually hurt my story here, so I removed half of...

What's the most difficult thing about writing story content?

Word count. Realized mine are less than what they needed thanks to a certain awesome guide to shave bloats off chapters.

    Hoshi's Feedback thread

Let's see if I can get more things to fix. https://www.scribblehub.com/series/1836739/untapped-memories/ Thank you in advance.

Does the length of chapter make any difference?

I've skimmed your chapter at a glance and it's easy to read. You didn't put too many wall of text; heck, the paragraphs are optimized just enough for mobile readers. Combine that with your choice of basic everyday words in a modern setting, I love it. However, 5,000 words is too long for an...

Writing How do you appreciate your own work?

It's the safe place where I can say things I can't say to my older relatives. Of course I'll appreciate it.

Does your family know that you are a writer?

Yes, they somewhat know. But most of them don't speak English and couldn't be bothered with reading fiction, so I'm kind of safe.

    Who like space opera?

I love SciFi, but maybe don't put massive blocks of text in your first three paragraphs. There are many ways to shrink them without losing details. Splitting huge paragraphs into smaller chunks and removing redundant words are a few of those.

Something that made you happy today

My chronic back pain doesn't bother me too much today.

    Chat, Am I Cooked?

For the title, you could have stopped at "The World Walker on a Tuesday" without everything else. SH has tags for a reason. Give it time, because it's a long game. Like, very long. Nineteen chapters aren't exactly enough for binging; I believe you won't stop at only 50, right?
