How many chapters does it take on average to start gaining steady writer?

Hint. Right-click on your cover image in the main book page, 'open image in new tab' (in your case, https://cdn.scribblehub.com/images/91/glance-knight_1831804_1760646980.jpg), and then 'insert picture' into your sig. After you have inserted it, click it again, right-click it, and add your link...

How many chapters does it take on average to start gaining steady writer?

Well, some of us have the point of view as a writer as our primary focus. As you learn what readers like, sometimes you are met with huge disappointments. The EXACT SAME STORY that has a cute girl on the cover instead of a spacecraft, and has the 45 5000 word chapters split into 120 chapters...

What little details irks you when reading?

I cannot say that I noticed that, but then again, the 'intent to kill' tends to be more like 'intent to drop the target' in the military. I read all this stuff about how 'killing changes someone' or 'it's so hard to do', but I never noticed it. They were targets. I don't think I am a sociopath...

How many chapters does it take on average to start gaining steady writer?

Your experience is a lot closer to RR readers. They have to slog through the loading of heavy advertisements for every single chapter, and so they want more per chapter. However, your experience is not characteristic of Scribblehub readers. They often prefer something they can glance at on their...

    Are these guys AI?

    I prefer to Rickrolll them.

    Are these guys AI?

    That's fine, I don't much enjoy socializing with 12-year-olds.

    Are these guys AI?

Child, you have NO idea. I AM an artist, although not a genius... but over the last 30 years I have been conned by jokers like Brian O'Connell (Who still owes me over 2 grand 30 years later). Internet 'graphic artists' are absolutely the worst and have ALWAYS been trying to con both indie game...

    Derp?

boring. No man will ever understand how a woman feels, no woman will ever understand how a man feels. All we can write is how we THINK and IMAGINE it would feel, which is always wrong. However. writing about how they ACT is entirely doable. just don't confuse the two, it will make your writing...

New writer, how does anyone get readers here?

I am completely the opposite. If you aren't writing for other people to read, you are simply playing with yourself. 'Compromising your own authenticity' is a code phrase for 'being too lazy to improve my writing and patting myself on the back because I could come up with an excuse to pretend...

Deleting and Making same novel again

Honestly, this. The reason is that most 'webnovel' chapters are barely 1000-1500 words each. 3000 words? I can write that much just responding to chapter comments before I pinch off my morning loaf. 5000-6000 word chapters actually LOSE readers, that's why I have been redoing my own works with...

How do the stories end for moral antagonists whom you like?

I like my villains... complicated. For example. in The chair guy, prior to story start, we discover that the protagonist recent basically had his father's inherited company yanked out from under him by his treacherous, abusive ex. However, as the story continues, we realize that he was a...

    Are these guys AI?

Can you blame them? The mountains of 'sponsorships' that third-rate, untalented artists USED to get for people desperate for minor illustrations on Deviantart and the like have dried up. Why? Because AI is BETTER than their untalented crap. That, and people who figure they can sell YOU AI...

Who is the character you like the most and who is the character you hate the most in your novel?

No, because the moment you have created him, he is no longer Hitler, he is YOUR Hitler. He never committed any of the sins that Hitler is famous for, because he is merely a character in your books. You cannot hate him any more than you can hate yourself... but feel free to revel in whatever hate...

As a writer, I am going to give my reading search routine to other writers

It helps having 15 years of getting holes punched in you in every major American 'action' since 1990. I don't have any money, but I do have time to read and write.

What would you do if you regressed?

I would buy microsoft stock, switch A-schools, and NOT ask my ex wife to marry me.

sup gang. just joined today. how many chapters do you all suggest to upload per day?

At 600-1500 words, one chapter a day (except maybe weekends) is a bit of a bare minimum. Some of us write 15000 words a day, but that is burnout city. But your chapters are tiny. As long as you can sustain it, I suggest a minimum of 1000 words a day or so.

[CLOSED] No one wants to review your story? Here I am!

Tell you what, I would love it if you would take a look at 'Sentenced to Paradise'. I don't need a review, I don't need writing advice, I just need someone to look at it and tell me if I should keep plugging away at it or just drop it for a year or two :) Even a two-word phrase like 'keep...

    Does no one use footnotes?

I use footnotes EXCLUSIVELY online, as a way to gauge and encourage reader enthusiasm. Right now I am doing stuff like... Our protagonist's walls are finally coming down. What do you think of his reasons for staying single? Is he being smart, self-destructive, or just a coward as he claims...
