Readers, do you ever regret giving a story the review you gave it?

Well, on most sites you can change your review or even delete it. So if you think you gave a review that was too good or too bad, then just do that. No need for regrets. Sometimes, when i give a review early to support a story, i change it later on (even if the rating stays the same.)

    Medieval Torture Equipments

I think you don't use those torture devices openly because it could cause some people to feel sympathy Well, there were some experiments that tested the human psyche quite throughly. Not to mention the physical harm. Just google Unit 731 to see one of the more famous example of how things like...

    Medieval Torture Equipments

Pear of anguish and judas cradle are quite similar. But i think after a certain amount of pain, the shame cause by being a fictim of thos emethods becomes negible. And there are certainly more painful ways to torture and kill. Also, most of those tools are only rumoured to have been used for...

Just got my first one star rating

I give you a five star rating. It doesn't make up the "unnecessary" one star but its better than nothing.

Which Modern Military equipment would you bring in another world?

I guess a fully functional aircraft carrier doesn'T count as "equippment" right? I mean if it chills in a harbour i basically have a fortress with a lot of weapons. Then i chose the Barrett M82 Sniper rifle

Small details you hate to see in stories

Isekai stories where the previous live doesn't matter. I mean, why make it an isekai then? Just grab a person of that world and give him cheats. I also hate it when MCs don't need to pay for really stupid decisions just because they have plot armor.

    Best ways to get seen?

Also, you could start by putting your story in your signature. At least if you promote on the forum. It won't help much, but every bit helps right?

    How often should you post?

I got told many times that uploading like ten chapters in ten days and keeping a regular schedule afterwards works well. Some give higher numbers like 14 or 21 but in principle, the idea is to get many people to see your story in a short time an publish enough so that people can get a rough idea...

    Most Memorable Scenes in Fiction

This scene is from dragonblade. The film itself isn't that good, but the soldiers, who knew they would most likely die while fighting against other roman soldiers, singing the (fictional) Anthem of their fatherland somehow moves my heart. This is a scene from troy where Hector kills achilles...

    Book Length!

Zoomer's attention span is short. Its the reason music hits get shorter and shorter as well. Ps.: This isn't a critque to your book.

What series you didn't like, but want too like

Look at the seasons in the ninties. While not flawless, it was when the series peaked. Also, the new Olympic fillers are boring as fuck.

How would you deal with your Protagonist as a Mid-stage Villain?

I have three protagonists. One i would need to kill, no matter the cost. One I could safely ignore. And from the last one, I should run. Run as fast as i can and never look back.

How much do you write before releasing the first chapter?

Okay, the daily release for two weeks rule sounds interesting. I think i will use it as a guideline. So 14 chapters + a small buffer. Meaning I'm just one chapter short. Or i cut the 5k chapters into pieces.

How much do you write before releasing the first chapter?

The second part is exactly what worries me. I mean, starting stories and not finishing them feels bad. And the one i want to start would definitely be a long-term project. Do you release them as complete books then? Or do you still keep the webnovel format?

How to improve as an author?

After glimpsing at two of your stories, i can say that you certainly don't lack creativity. But the type and genre of your stories propably don't count as popular ones. So even if you are the best writer in said genre, you probably won't become trending on this site. This doesn't mean you...

How much do you write before releasing the first chapter?

    Question in the title.

I'm in the mood to read.

You do realize that your "5 chapters" have 50k words?

I'm in the mood to read.

I will probably give this a go tomorrow. After writing another chapter for my own story, of course. But for today, i quit. I'm tired.

I'm in the mood to read.

Left the review. It was really an interesting read. Completely out of my usual spectrum but definitely worth it. 4-5 chapters sounds good. And they are short, too. And as i plan to write a smut scene soon, a bit of research can't hurt.

I'm in the mood to read.

I think I will start with Rookieqw's story. It's been a long time since I read a story with a non-human lead, so I hope it will be a refreshing experience. But i will check the other stories as well, when i have time. But I won't guarantee to read far enough to give a review.
