I have reading lists that are all stories I've completed, and frequently check these lists to reread stories. I'd like the ability to randomize the order of stories on the list so I can be presented with different stories each time I look at it, so I don't just keep rereading the same ones over...

Sounds neat. I would play that game, certainly—it sounds like FTL with a deckbuilder aspect. It sounds fairly suitable to a narrative too, cause all the crew cards could have their own personalities.
