I know this is a joke, but I want to complain, because low-caliber bullets like this are typically made out of lead (the color and the clean cut suggest it is), which is far weaker than even subpar quality iron, to the point it can be scratched slightly with fingernails.

No one here is grumpy about anything though? And I am glad I have a twin, but definitely not because I don't have more siblings.

As a person with a twin, I absolutely understand sibling shenanigans even though we haven't partaken much. I think doting happens when there's a distinct attitude difference and a sort of hierarchy, usually age-related. However, when a pair of siblings is roughly equal and uninhibited with each...

    Am I doing anything wrong?

Practice and reflection always helps. If you write, actually properly think what you're doing, and compare with your past work as well as other stories, you'll inevitably see things you have improved or you can improve. From my experience, the easiest way to get better in this regard is set...

Took me ~3 seconds to notice it, it's not very visible. Personally, I think both are too indistinct, one blends with the hair the other with the fire.

    Am I doing anything wrong?

From a quick glance, I noticed two things you can improve. One, grammar. It's not bad, much better than some stories that wound up here, but small mistakes are frequent enough I noticed just skimming the first chapter. Two, I think you're too direct in your writing. This is related to the...

What Attracts You In A Book?

Usually I'm attracted wither by cover, by title, or by tags. If the synopsis is good, I'll at least check it out. Probably the most common red flags are badly written titles and synopses (mainly grammatical errors) and bait such as blatantly suggestive cover.

Do games have to be fun?

This cannot be answered without first defining what exactly "fun" is. Broadly speaking that could be true, but using narrow definitions that is definitely not true; I don't think they have to be fun. Much more important than that is something I would call a "convincing purpose". When you look...

Then the kids, being the dumb kids, got wind of it and complained to the teacher, and the teacher told me I shouldn't get ahead like this because then I have nothing to do in class. In hindsight, this killed most of my motivation to learn on my own for YEARS. The entire education system in most...

One of the worst experiences by far I had in school was somewhere in primary school, I think in 3rd grade or something. Basically, I was way better at math than most kids, so I sometimes did exercises ahead of class.

    Why Are Fanfictions Hated ?.

The quality of fanfiction is generally significantly lower than that of original fiction. Their faithfulness to the original is also usually lacking, and a related thing, there's a solid number of tropes that are very popular in fanfiction, but disliked elsewhere.

    I need an advice.

I always use a simple rule for things like that. Do NOT explain anything in narration unless you absolutely need to. If you think it's not obvious and likely to be misunderstood, you can either only mention it in narration (do not treat readers as idiots and explain everything), or explain it...

What tags will turn you away from a game?

MOBA, MMO, recently also most PvP, and I'll be extremely unlikely to play.

    Recommendations Looking for "Corruption" smut.

"Tales of a Seductress" will probably fit what you're looking for. Also "A Change For the Better" on AO3, but that one's a bit different.

    Writing Advice

Damn I expected far less distributed votes. The main issue with most of those is not the advice itself, but the circumstances they're told in. Almost any writing advice can work in specific cases, but most will be useless or even disruptive when someone tries to apply them to their whole...

Outside specific situations, the 1st one is going to be much more hated. Both can be presented in all kinds of ways, but causing misery for no reason is generally a very, very disliked behavior.

Those were exactly my thoughts on it. I approve of your method.

    Adding music to your novel?

I think trying to write complete lyrics is generally a very bad idea. It can turn out well, obviously, but writing songs and stories are two separate skillsets that don't have all that much in common, on top of the fact that lyrics by themselves are difficult to directly insert into a story...
