I'm not sure how I had done that, but I had forgotten to set my story's status to "complete" after finishing it. I realized at the beginning of January, so almost exactly a year after finishing it, and I guess I now know completed stories get significantly more views.

    Is it normal

It's absolutely normal, there's a big influx of readers when you first publish the story because it stays on the front page for some time. A lot of people also specifically look for new stories because they've seen most of older works.

Yeah, my reaction was pretty similar the first time I saw "Advertisement 1 of 7". I don't know how the hell this happened, but I haven't seen any site that came close to this amount of ads.

Because they are so spread out and one break is ~2 minutes long, you can't go do something else while they play, and if that was not enough, you can't play the ads in the background and do something else, because they are forcefully paused when you switch tabs. Then people wonder why anime is...

Crunchyroll is just something else. I haven't kept up with it at all, but I recently wanted to watch some anime. That is when I learned a single, standard-length anime episode has 19-22 unskippable ads (1 at the beginning, 3 segments of 6-7 during the video) for non-premium users. That is about...

Talking to yourself isn't anything concerning so long as it's not excessive. Talking with yourself, if that happens, is the thing you should be worried about.

Who's the most most idiotic here?(Not valid)

I think most people who could fit that title either aren't active, or have left already.

What's the difference between a demon lord and a demon king-nya?

This depends on the setting really. From what I've seen, if the setting only has one of them, their strength can't really be compared. If the story has many, this tends to fit into one of two patterns: - from the top of the hierarchy and strength, Demon King, Demon Prince, Demon nobility; if...

    Is it just coincidence?

There shouldn't be any difference. It's either some kind of bug, or just a coincidence. In fact, I'm pretty sure the vast majority of popular authors schedule their chapters, so handicapping them would be stupid. I personally scheduled all of my chapters except a few, and there was no...

    4X Games?

From what I played and can personally recommend, you can try Master of Orion; I think it's worse than Endless Space 2, but both are fun and the former is far simpler. Corty already provided links to both.

What are your thoughts on vegan meat?

Personally, I will never understand the attempts to make vegan or vegetarian "meat" as anything else than a stupid marketing strategy that for some even more stupid reason works. There's a huge amount of products that are already vegan or vegetarian, there's no reason to process them to make...

Indide games are RR of gaming world.

In the end, games and stories both suffer from the same problem. To find gold, you need to wade through heaps of trash. I've played a number of demos on Steam in the past year (maybe about 50, I don't keep track), I only tried those that really interested me, and even from those I found maybe 5...

Good (class) skills for a thief?

[Sleight of Hand] (passive/active) Your hand movements are less noticeable. [Trick of the Light] (active) Observes lose track of you. * Works once, does nothing to prevent them from noticing you again but can provide a brief window of opportunity; also, effectiveness depends on what they see -...

Not quite cat, but feline. I like the hair. On many of your previous posts, it looked like someone photoshopped human hair on top which looks weird. This is great though, far more natural.

I far prefer slow burn stories, so long as they are actually good. Slow pace provides a lot of time for deep, intricate worldbuilding, lore, and character development, which can be great when it's written properly. Unfortunately, if a slow burn story is badly written, it becomes an even worse...
