Fellow authors, what are your opinions on individual chapters having titles? I sometimes use them and i sometimes dont. As a side question: If you name chapters, do you name all of them or just some?

With my first two stories, i originally used bits of names from books or games but now i use various name generators (sometimes themed) and then pick names based on how they sound. Usually i'll pick a first name and then i'll go through and try to find a name that fits well as a surname.

From about 2014 to last year, i took part (off and on) in a few RP worlds over skype and later discord that were constantly operating so people could jump in and out as they had time and were online. I quite enjoyed them a lot as they were fun and ever-evolving due to actions taken by different...

Title says it all. Discuss your views on the exclusivity rules and conditions required when authors publish with amazon kindle unlimited. Personally, i can understand if the author wants to make as much money as possible but i think it's a risk. As a reader, i'm not a fan of it as it makes...

From an author perspective, it's highly unlikely as i'd need to get at least one of my stories in a fit, properly finished state (at minimum in arcs) before i'd even consider it as a potential. I wouldnt see it as a career though, just potentially a way to make some small bonus cash That said...

The only novel i'm currently consistently reading is Garden of Amy by @Khiricastares One of the best original EN yuri webnovels ive read. It is so good that mere words are not worthy to describe the sheer perfection of it. there's a few other novels on my lists but i read most of them...

That's basically me. My main stories that i have the most work in are perfect examples of that way of doing things. My two oldest (in terms of when i started them) stories are split into 3 and 4 parts respectively just because i wrote chunks then i had writers block while having ideas for later...

I think the forums themselves here arent so active because most of us gits lurk NUF anyway XD Comments themselves usually come through on the chapters themselves as far as ive seen.
