Music for a Mermaid [request for help]

Ooh, the bit from halfway forward might be really good for the scene I'm writing right now~! Thank you.

    How to schedual writing time

If it's a series, I'd just plot loosely far enough in advance that I know what I'm aiming for, and then I'd plot the scenes for the chapter I'm writing somewhat more heavily. I don't always stick to the outline, but it's useful when you need to write on autopilot. It also helps to schedule time...

    How to schedual writing time

I try to do all my plotting prior to sitting down to write, and then reserve any extra plot-development for non-writing hours. It's better to have a finished story that I can play around with than ideas that stay in my head, or so I tell myself. I've been writing for the Yuri Garden anthology...

Music for a Mermaid [request for help]

I really prefer just normal music when I'm writing. It's rare that I don't find instrumental music distracting.

Music for a Mermaid [request for help]

The first one is pretty good, thank you~! (Although without the sexual overtones from the video... :blob_melt: I forgot to say, but they're far, far too young for that.)

Music for a Mermaid [request for help]

Thank you - it's a really nice piece~! I actually have a strange preference for non-instrumental music while I write, so it doesn't matter whether there are words or not to me.

Music for a Mermaid [request for help]

I am in desperate need of music to drown out the sound of my dad's crappy car programmes (played at the volume of a marching band) and to help me focus on the short story I'm writing. It's a feel-good story about falling in love with a mermaid, so I need mermaid or ocean-themed music that isn't...

@tiaf It's very gay~! But my head decided that today is a "can't concentrate on anything" day. :blob_melt: Ended up playing a troll run of Oblivion just for something to do.

The Yuri Garden Writing Competition (2020) [RESULTS]

ATTENTION! A new rule has been added to help the competition remains anonymous. It's now submission rule #5. In addition, from this point on, to prevent hints from accidentally being given out, questions about the competition must be sent to me in a direct message. I'll publish answers that...

The Yuri Garden Writing Competition (2020) [RESULTS]

I think I mentioned it in several places, but the entries will be gathered up as they're submitted and published each Saturday. I'm considering mixing up the order throughout the voting process.

The Yuri Garden Writing Competition (2020) [RESULTS]

You're completely free to write about people falling in love, pursuing crushes, confessing, etc. You just can't write yuribait, where nothing ever comes of the relationship. It's lots of fun~! I look forward to this every year.

I read this novel once a while ago and I can't find it?

Can you remember anything else about it? Aside from the ancient person coming to the future, those are very generic features for Chinese and Chinese-inspired webnovels.

[RELEASED] The Yuri Garden Collaborative Anthology Event

There's no time limit for the anthology itself to be completed, although I'll do what I can do speed it along. We currently have 7/9 stories submitted, and the other two prompts are reserved. If there are any issues completing the anthology, I do have a back-up plan. The anthology is guaranteed...

how do you write a non-dense harem mc?

Do you mean real polyamory? Real polyamory doesn't mean that everyone's in a relationship with everyone else. Actually, it's pretty uncommon that you'll share lovers. You don't have to get along with your lover's lovers either, although it will be messy and a real nightmare if you don't.

would you disregard official canon just to fit your agenda?

??? Infertile people are not vampires. Also, trans people aren't necessarily infertile either.
