Which word processer is best for writing?

:blob_frown: Is it just me who's been using Word all her life and doesn't see the problem with it?

Writing Deadlines...to be or not to be?

I've been writing to a deadline for the past few months because of the Yuri Garden anthology. For the first one, I had four weeks to write the first draft and two weeks to edit. For the other two, I had to write them before the end of this month and in the minimum amount of time (so a maximum of...

    I cant read my novel

Your story can't be seen until it's approved, and it can't be approved until it has at least one chapter publicly available. Then you may have to wait the standard 12 or so hours for approval.

However, there are sometimes other, more legitimate reasons that people write non-trans GB yuri (?), so it has to be taken on a case-by-case basis.

@tiaf I'm personally picky about GB too, to be honest. :blob_melt: I've heard some guys say that including it makes it easier for them to write yuri, because they don't know how to write real women. I've also heard some extreme weirdos use it a a "justification" for why the character likes women.

@Saileri I have no idea... I feel like most of the people I looked through were men, but they also tended to write non-trans Gender Bender instead of "real" yuri.

    Your Favorite Chapter To Write

Oh, I like those too~! Mine are always too context-dependent to explain easily, though. Although I will always love that time when I thought I'd written a really hackneyed, cop-out death scene for a character and it turned out I left my friend emotionally devastated. Got a nice message just...

How do you get over the sadness as an Author?

Hm... Maybe, but not exactly? In relationships, there are two people (or more, I guess), so there is the chance that the other person is just a toxic POS. You can try "rewriting" the relationship with them, but you won't always get out what you put in. In writing, on the other hand, it all...

Confess Your Love! The Thread Where You Tag The Person You Like (And Then Get Rejected In Public, Just Like Highschool)

Many thanks~! And since the theme of this thread seems to be "horrible rejection": I'm sorry, but I already have a wonderful and cute girlfriend.

How do you get over the sadness as an Author?

It depends how it's causing my sadness. If it just didn't get the response I was hoping for, I'll take a little time away from it and then come back to consider how I maybe failed to communicate what I wanted with it and how I could have improved. There's always the option to rewrite and try...

For words like realise/realize, which spelling is preferred?

I use British because I'm British. I think the standard is to use American if you're not, though.

What's Your Most Ambitious Story Concept?

I have quite a few ambitious future projects... I have a magical boy story set in Glasgow planned, where two magical boys carry out the work of anti-hero superheroes. It involves brutally hunting down criminals like animals and putting them into magical comas. The main character is a guy who's...

    Idea boards?

I also make playlists and use them to visualise my story~! I keep any references I want to keep hold of in files on my computer, though, and just use Google for ones that I'll only need for the current scene.
