    I got someone good feedback!

Not publication service. Webnovel sites. They just throw a bit of money at people (mostly only really interesting to poorer countries or authors without bigger patreon income) and try to get authors and their stories with that. They often will also do writing competition with high prices (but...

Why is romance sooo bad in isekai novels on this site.

Don't worry... catgirls trump romance :D

Why is romance sooo bad in isekai novels on this site.

There's also another problem with romance and webnovels in general: Not talking about the "love at first sight"-trope, romance usually takes time. Like a lot of time. People have to meet, they have to get to know each other, they have to learn to understand each other, they need to find comfort...

    Interest Check Forum Slot

It only works if you have a big and active audience in your forum. Which is a massive IF. Especially in a time where most sites don't even care that much about forums anymore... But anyway... no need to discuss it further. We won't see eye to eye on that one.

    Interest Check Forum Slot

Honestly, it was meant to be "something like the one shot system" not "write entire one shots". Like taking a more or less defined idea out there to the main page where people can vote. (I blame my lack of sleep while writing) Well. Then it seems like both ideas are stupid :D

    Interest Check Forum Slot

I wouldn't say that. I actually think it would be cool with some rules. Something like the One Shot Manga System to see whether the interest is there. I just don't think there are that many people who would actively go for that in the forum. I would see that more as a feature of the main site...

    Free Story Criticisms

Time to have someone trample all over my heart :D Though it's "another reincarnation story", so it might be out of your target zone. https://www.scribblehub.com/series/122239/the-lone-macaw/ If you prefer something short with all these stories: There is also a short story, that needs more...

    Interest Check Forum Slot

According to Tony's Changelog (3.12.), https://forum.scribblehub.com/threads/change-log.313/: So there is no real way to know, how many users really use the forum and which are only reading on the main site. I would say, the majority is only active on the main site...

    What makes a bad novel?

Imho I would agree with the idea, that a story is about change in some form though adversaries in any form. Hence my simple answer would be, that a novel, where everything stays unchanged is a bad story. You can have bad characters but still tell a good story, you can have bad grammar and...

    Featured reviews

We had it as part of other rating system discussion and the like, but now here as its own thread to not go under in all the usual quarrels. Instead of trying to force out all the "negativity" (which will never work anyway), I would argue, that it's better to encourage positive behavior. Hence...

(Suggestions) Should I turn My Non-Human Novel into a harem novel on the side?

It's kinda sad that my first thought about "vending machine with harem" wasn't "WTF?" but just "Another one? Hmm... fine, I guess"...

Have any of you heard of web novel? cause All i hear is RR and SH

I mean it wouldn't surprise me if they tried if with their EULA, it just wouldn't hold up in court. But it's also a long time since I looked into it. Though I was interested, because I plan to at least publish my first volume over there to maybe get some readers... but I didn't pay attention for...

Have any of you heard of web novel? cause All i hear is RR and SH

That's actually news to me and I would ask for a quote on that. One because EULA can't enforce such stuff hidden in the fineprint. And two, because their ToS still reads: "You retain copyright and any other proprietary rights that you may hold in the User Content that you post to the Service."...

And you think they go through all small stories without contract and check for that? Oo I mean in the worst case they'll do whatever they want anyway. Not posting anything is more towards getting your readers to leave webnovel and look elsewhere for your stuff. As long as you post without...

Though most of this has to do with getting his work stolen. There isn't really any reason to not post the beginning of your work there for free and link back to your patreon or homepage. Yeah, that site has some really bad business practices, especially in their contracts. But throwing away the...
