My most recent attempt at Isekai/LitRPG... Thoughts?

Another point I would add to the great list by Snusmumriken is my personal thoughts on your synopsis: I wouldn't pick up your book for a very simple reason: it mentions this Ahya over and over again and points towards other books. A shared universe is fine, but it can also give the impression...

My most recent attempt at Isekai/LitRPG... Thoughts?

Honestly, smut gets readers a lot faster, but you'll get readers with nearly everything that has at least some appealing tags/genres. It'll only take longer. I have no harem/gl/gb/smut or sexual content in the tags and ~660 readers in 75k words. Could have been more if not for muliple times of...

    Looking for Things to Review

Then maybe I'll wait some time and throw in a new story later. One without isekai. (only harem *duckandcover*)

    Looking for Things to Review

"The fist chapter was great, afterwards it fell of the cliff" :D But yeah, I would be interested in a longer review/impression from you.

What tiny detail in stories irritates you?

Don't know if it's a "detail", but it isn't the main point of the story: I hate it, when action-novels with romantic subplot just forget about the love interest the moment they are together. Seen way too often in chinese novels, where the MC fights 700 chapters for the girl, kisses her once...

With my return from hiatus in sight, there would be the first volume of my novel to review... =)

Anyone else gets discouraged by your average views per chapter dropping?

Short chapters gets you a lot of eyes really fast, quality is what lets the readers stay and come back. I didn't post in months and still get new readers/comments every other day. It isn't as fast or impactful as trending but length alone will let you get into the higher ranks of some...

Anyone else gets discouraged by your average views per chapter dropping?

Look at it the other way round: All those people still reading your novel are those, who are really invested in it. You have written over 700k words. The average reading speed of an adult is 200 to 250 words per minute, but due to easier reading in webnovels let's even take 350 words/minute. So...

How many views/ How many readers do you have?

Look at reads instead of views... Views go also up with each user just clicking on your novel without opening a chapter. Or each F5 that happens. So a day more on the frontpage when posting a new story can raise views a lot. Same with time in trending. Most of those views will never interact...

    What does "Son-Deville" mean?

I had French in school for 5 years or so. Didn't help with the meaning or correct spelling (had to google that as well), but it was enough to realize it's French and not horrible pronounced English :D

Why do you guys have 'Shota' and 'Loli' tags when it's against content guidelines?

Because every time I look into the mirror, there's a monster... :blob_teary:

    What does "Son-Deville" mean?

First I thought based on your writing Son-Deville would be just an artistic way to say "son of the devil", which would be an artistic way to speak about Dracula (literal translation of the name). But I just went and listened to it and the thing is, the lyrics you posted are just wrong. It isn't...

LoliGen: Age gap, loli, and even shota stories

The reality of it is also that the majority of sexual acts against children isn't done by people with pedophilia or similar tendencies. It is more often than not an act of power and not an act of sexuality. It's also a fact that the majority of people with these tendencies don't act out on these...

LoliGen: Age gap, loli, and even shota stories

There are a million ways to write stories about this topic without normalizing it. And there is also a big difference between writing stories (whether happy or bad) in fiction and normalizing actual behaviour. In fact, using such stories or images to battle against these sexual urges is a wide...

Why do you guys have 'Shota' and 'Loli' tags when it's against content guidelines?

But you do. And now you just use half of the definition, to excuse your generalization. The tag doesn't define whether it is the protagonist or one of the main (side/loved) characters. Who then don't necessarily have to be part of sexual activities. So yeah, you clearly are still saying "what...

LoliGen: Age gap, loli, and even shota stories

I personally have no relation to loli/shota-content. I don't read it. I personally dislike such relationships even in fiction. But I also know it's fiction. As seen in this thread before your postings, I also spoke of the problems with this idea and why a broader discussion can only be achieves...
