Why stories about foxes are so popular?

https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/AFoxyIndex I don't really get it either, but this trope is old. Literally every culture has fox myths and stereotypes. So they're both traditional, and they're also just exotic enough to seem new and different (as compared to house hold pets), without...

What Monster Girl Would You Like To Be?

Yeah, there's an entire genre of magic apocalypse stories that start this way. (Though they don't all use the mge setting.)

What Monster Girl Would You Like To Be?

I'd prefer to be a shapeshifter and assume whatever form I want. I don't know of an mge monster girl that can do that though (There may be one, I just don't know many of them). So Alraune or Dryad, if I had to pick a single form.

Just because you don't add the tag.

...Wouldn't this make real life a system novel? You check your bank account for your current status. Your boss gives you a task, and then pays you for it. Maybe a raise or promotion. Really depends on what your definition of a system novel is though. Actually, is there even a system tag on SH...

    Questions about ‘Global’ Trope

I think ordinary mass transference stories like Hell Difficulty Tutorial or Ryn of Avonside might be a good reference for this kinda thing, at least on a small scale. My general rule of thumb is that the audience can only remember seven people. If you have more than that, they'll struggle to...

    High Fantasy or Isekai?

Hard disagree. Here's the wiki def: It specifically leaves room for High Fantasy Isekai like the Chronicles of Narnia, or Low Fantasy stories set in not-earth worlds like typical medieval fantasy.

    High Fantasy or Isekai?

Tbh, one of the biggest draws for a story for me is learning how everything works. That is almost always better done in isekai than straight fantasy. Also, I like magitech, and High Fantasy authors inevitably write medieval stuff. Isekai authors like to have their former earth people make earth...
