    Webnovel, the site

The story is now gone. I think that the delete feature was implemented toward the end of 2023, so if the story of yours occurred before that, it wouldn't work.

Jesus Christ, that sounds tragic. I was somehow able to delete mine, albeit manually. But the other stuff sounds horrible.

    Webnovel, the site

I've heard people talking about Tapas a lot, but all I've seen there are villainess stories that, as far as I can tell, are from Korea and are already being adapted to manhwas. Is there actually a place for original English novels?

    Webnovel, the site

As many have said, their contracts are fine if you just want some money and can push out that kind of work daily. But just know that you're giving the CCP your personal information by doing that. Not that it's much better since every government collects info on its citizens anyway.

    Webnovel, the site

I have actually tried uploading there for a while but stopped because I was lazy. They spammed me with contracts, and I didn't bother to sign them. Not planning to even if I come back there this time. That's why I asked about the monetization in the case of me not signing them.

    Webnovel, the site

So, after more than a year of being a writer, I've finally decided not to be lazy about uploading my works to more sites than just SH and RR. As sad as it might sound, the most viable site besides those two is probably Webnovel. I am posting this thread asking for the input of those who have had...

[Progress] She is on Scribble hub too!

Feel like this is the most 'didn't happen' stuff ever, considering the previous thread, too. Just saying.

    Too accurate.

How can I learn to recognize why my writing is boring or bad?

I believe I used to briefly critique your story a year ago. Well, that was when I just started out as a writer and was not actually skilled enough for that. I still believe I am not, but here's what I think about the LitRPG part. The system is the bane of all existence. Some people hate it to...

    The Pressure Of Marriage.

From what I've seen, financial stress is the primary reason for not getting married. In addition to that, perhaps the exposure to all the worst dating cases on the internet has contributed some, too. I could go on about how the dating market has changed, and young men's mental issues have become...

    Comment List For Authors.

Me everytime a guy binges through my three-digit-chapter novel and leaves a comment for every chap:

(Progress) What if, your crush is a h-novel writer ?

Feel like the chance of running into another author in real life is astronomically low. Just saying. If that's true, and if you do date her, however, why the hell would you care? She can write what she wants.

What are peoples thoughts on authors allowing their readers to finish a story for them?

That one, yes. It was such a long time ago.

What are peoples thoughts on authors allowing their readers to finish a story for them?

If the author wishes so, then I guess it's fine. But at the end of the day, it'll never be the same for the readers. Experienced it first-hand with a magical girl story on SH.

    Memory loss

That's why I have a sheet where I jot down important events in my life and my feelings at those moments so I can relive them later. Felt weird to me at first, but I find it valuable now. Not that I have memory problems, just to be clear.

Help me choose my writting style!

They're the same to me. If I were an average reader, I wouldn't notice a thing if you switched between these two, so do what you prefer. Granted, there is not nearly enough data to judge fully.

    Are Stakes Necessary?

I don't eat steaks. They look raw af, and if I cook them till well-done, they become tires.

    J-Novel Club submission

Rather want to, but 35k words minimum in 2 months, amidst the four stories that I'm still writing... yeah.

What is the most drama filled situation you've seen on scribble hub.

Uhh... like, that one thread by a guy melting down after receiving a singular one-star review a while ago? He ended up deleting both the story and the account, I remember. It was entertaining.

Author blocked me for trying to give critical feedback.

Man, this takes me back to the time when I still made the rookie mistake of replying to comments with shaved IQ, although the roles have been reversed in this case. I guess I'm old now.
