    Letter Bias

My bias is anything but normal everyday names. You'll never see a "Kevin" or "Samantha" as a main character in my novels. On the other hand I also created someone with the name Jacob Arseman....

    Talk about titles.

I think yes. Take Prince Harry for example. He's both a Prince and a Duke and is referred to as both by official documents.

    Talk about titles.

I mean as in survellance and governemental control and stuff. I studied there for a few years—and yes, China just lives like any other country, but it's in the little things that makes me feel oppressed.

Making your characters more marketable to a readers audience

Making an unforgettable character is better than making a bland/marketable one. I think it's more useful long term to have characters that have well-defined personalities (like Edward and Eric (I forgot his name lol) from FMA). Another important thing is to make characters that fits the story...

    Talk about titles.

George Orwell's "1984" predicted the future. The West is slowly becoming more like China and no one's doing anything about it. Anyways, titles.

    The best thread about titles

Short, snappy title + Good cover is more than enough. Personally I'm not a fan of those long titles but maybe someone is into it.

What is the first series you read here?

https://www.scribblehub.com/series/464576/spatial-magus/ Stumbled upon it on NU's SH ad space I think. Kinda sad seeing it dropped

Writing Writers. Your preferred characters quantity and focus

Honestly, as little as possible. Or I introduce a bunch of them only to kill them off. As for main characters, it's best that there's only 1. But I will only go up to 3 or 4. Any more than that and the story loses focus.

What songs are you listening to? (the Holy version)

I will make your next thread politics just because you added that second line.

    Should Dragons have rights?

So? I only realised after the fact that it became weirdly political. I'm not complaining. And I'm sorry if my opinions derailed the conversation. But I can't stand people refusing to believe in climate change when one of my family members died because of it (or something caused by it.) Anyways...

    Should Dragons have rights?

I knew that saying to myself "just five more mintues to see what everyone says is a bad idea. Anyways, for realsies this time. Ive said before. The media is exaggerating climate change. But you can't deny it being caused by humans. We DO have a solution. Shut off everything and regress to the...

    Should Dragons have rights?

    - And? Can't turn them into Oxygen if the gasses are up there in the upper atmosphere. - they don't. But if they do, that's proof. - I said no major volcanic eruptions. And greenhouse gasses isn't even something worth mentioning when it comes to volcanoes (although algae would just absorb it...

    Should Dragons have rights?

Maybe the Great Depression was a dragon waking up from its slumber.... -burning fuel releases greenhouse gasses -humans burn fuel for energy to supply the whole world -no major volcanoes eruptions in years. Ones that happened decades ago shouldn't affect today. -conclusive data on the...

    Should Dragons have rights?

Welp, one last thing. Look up what radiation actually is. Combined with he fact that you need to shoot out and add protons to turn matters into other things and you got your answer.

    Should Dragons have rights?

Wow, so you're smushing matters together and expect to make Uranium? Someone didn't pay attention to chemistry classes. That would need you to change the amount of P and E in atoms. And doing so would, surprise suprise, create radiation. Earth would be a radioactive mess if what you're saying...

    Should Dragons have rights?

You do realise that's how energy turn into mass, right? Actually, mass IS energy. When people say turning energy into mass, they mean to turn it into one of the four states. There you go. Monsoons. Not air that changes very slowly over years. It SHOULD come full circle after a year, but it's...

    Should Dragons have rights?

And you just picked one of my examples apart without regard for the other ones. Land erosion isn't even the single factor for floods. Irregular rains are, too. And guess what causes them? That's right, climate change.
