    Why the narrative world building?

    I needed to narrative worldbuild right from the get go because my setting was too unbelievable for most of my beta readers who were more into sci-fi than science fantasy. Can't just say 'bang, humanity is now a galactic civ now, stemming from real world Earth' I did try one version without it...
