That's another mistake I made, wanting to make a loser character that's more realistic in being a loser. The majority of isekai readers don't want to see that. Half of that is me responding to the comments. :s_tongue: Not to mention that there has been somewhat of a comment drought lately.

It's not about him being kind of cruel, is it? It's about him having PTSD from the fight against his parents' murderer. He's fine with killing enemies that are weaker than him, that's already established well enough, I think, but when the enemy's stronger, especially at the level of his parents'...

My story fulfills some of that criteria. 500k+ words, 150+ chapters. Mentally weak MC that will get strong eventually. However, he's a human, it will have a harem in the future (though not now), and no cultivation. A lot of focus on character development, interaction, and worldbuilding.

The only one who should celebrate is Gamestop and the Reddit folks. I just hope they don't get too greedy and refuse to get out before it soars down again.

I have to warn writers though that making an isekai protagonist like that might draw the ire of your readers. A lot of readers don't like reading about a pathetic failure after all. :s_tongue: Just see my story's reviews for a good example. :s_tongue:
