Would this concept intrigue you? (You're not seeing this novel in most likely a year or two)

Uh. I mean it sounds like something some people would like but no. Looks like a cultivation flavored basic revenge story. That’s not to say it couldn’t be done well, but this feels like a transparent ad for a product you don’t even have available yet. It didn’t land for me, personally. Good luck...

    The true home of DIVERSITY

Ehhh. Being a giant floating J was lame. (Searches for art from my story, finds relatively minor character I like) Aight. Cat man bartender it is.

In historical fantasy novels, which do you think is more important, political conspiracy or magical duels?

Focusing on politics is to create an entirely different type of story than focusing on magical duels, as is choosing to focus on both equally. As is focusing on character driven interactions with zero magical duels or political intrigue, at which point you have slice of life. I’m pretty sure...

What is the hardest character archetype to write?

For me the exact opposite of Eldoria’s answer is true. Characters who are genuinely irrational are so much harder than those who go absolutely all in on alien worldviews. I have a character who is a legitimate fascist as an antagonist and put in the leg work to understand historical fascism as...

    Point shop cost?

A bit late, but as someone who did something vaguely similar? I’d say have him unlock new options as he goes. Start with a very basic set of core options and have him read all of them. Soldier 15 Weapons and ammo like you said Field Rations (poor) - Something like a WW1 iron ration. A heavily...

How do put my novel on a banner?

Here you go There’s probably a hard cap on word count, so it may get very expensive if you have a long novel, but this should work.

How long do you take to write your novel?

At my unhealthy peak it was around 15-20k words a week with daily releases of 2-3000 word chapters. These days it’s closer to 4-5000 a week because I spend more time editing and my daughter requires a lot more time and attention as a 4 year old than as a giant immobile bean.

As an author, which character would you want to possess if you transmigrated into your fiction?

Erich Bismark. I’d have ridiculously overpowered magical abilities that feed directly into my personal kinks and already know all of the weird exploits he discovered over the course of the story so I could probably be almost half as effective as him even without going completely morally...

    Opinion on ai?

I use ai to act as a beta reader for my story and I kinda assume there must be either better ai for it than I have access to or that they put so much work into making them functional that they might as well have just written it. Or maybe they set up a network of 6 ai agents all working together...

I have a question regarding AI.

TLDR You can use it but it’s a deeply flawed tool so always be careful. I use it as an editor with the rule that I literally never copy/paste anything written by it and in fact set ground rules with it every single time that it should never try to write anything or rewrite anything I have...

Do every novel author react to the accident where he deleted his draft chapter with exact emotion like he launched the nuke to his motherland?

As a pantser I never have more than one arc of any of my stories in only one place at a time because I post once it’s ready. Ye gods it still hurts when one week’s worth of work gets deleted. Just not as badly.

Writing Prompt Reincarnated as a curse system admin.

I want at least one character, maybe a side character, who is another admin actively cooking the books to give curses to people who want them on the condition that their victims pretend to be in agony. trans girl “oh no, I have been subjected to the forced feminization system. Booooo” Very...

First Person to Third Person to Signify Change

It’s certainly not the worst idea, though it might be disorienting if it is actually still the same guy. If that’s what you’re going for, by all means. I do something similar in my story but not quite as intense; my MC speaks in first person but everyone else gets third person limited when...

    Hey i am new writer

That is definitely the attitude of a new writer. Keep at it, don’t expect a ton of immediate feedback, good luck. Every chapter is a victory.

Book titles have changed: From abstract to full sentences..

The reason? People don’t read the back of the book or the description anymore because there are so goddamn many stories that they COULD be reading, so light novels adopted the practice of including the entire premise in the title. It spread from there.

Authors, if you make an original story do you ever think about making another one?

If I had infinite time I’d have about 5 ongoing stories, but I have a patreon giving me a small but Useful amount of money each month so I need to keep my patrons happy with chapter 130+ of my ongoing primary story that I can just barely maintain a weekly release for.

What do you feel should be in a reverse world story?

Idk. The core concept of women being more like men is… uh… I mean someone could do something with it but the kind of story where that is enough of a thing to rely upon as a story engine doesn’t sound all that fun to me. Now, a single culture that does this? That’s an idea with some more legs...

Writing What is the lore in your fiction?

My story is fanfiction, so I’ll only go into the lore that is specific to my own story as opposed to the source material. The space between is the place where entities that only arguably exist go when they can’t maintain a connection to the real world. Ghosts that never moved on but also can’t...

Character Descriptions (How to Do It Properly?) (Ignore)

Cassandra woke up to the rays of the sun streaming through the slats on her blinds, cascading over her naked chest. She stretched, her breasts lifting with her arms as she greeted the sun. She rolled out of bed and put on a shirt, her nipples prominently showing through the thin fabric. She...

    LitRPG and Systems

Isekai, System, and Regressor are all popular trends In unregulated markets, so they’ve all been done in a million different ways. Obviously the lazy ways are the most commonly seen in free web novels, but everyone has their own twist on things. I assume other trendy frameworks like cultivation...
