Started posting a brand new story for the "Shifters" anthology, a big one called "Brute Force". Shape-shifting hackers, sexy contract killers, and Mafia wise guys, oh my. ?
I just saw an episode of "Villa Alegre", (if anyone remembers this 1970s children's show), and they were just now doing a whole segment on "Why I Like Me", and it brings a tear to my eyes when I think how many lives this episode could have saved these days.
I'm so pleased to present "An Irish Tail", a story I wrote more than 15 years ago and completely re-wrote. It's beautiful, heartwarming, and reads like a fairy tale all its own. And if you're Irish, this is going to really resonate. *^^* https://www.scribblehub.com/read/1791049-shifters/chapter/1888974/
I watched 1993's "Dazed and Confused" tonight, quite possibly the greatest high school movie in history. I'm blessed that I still have many friends from high school after all these years. A lot of people don't. It's like they're there for you in high school - and then everyone leads their lives. It's painful but necessary.
Here's to high school. ?
Food for thought:
If smartphones had never been invented, "app" would be short for "appropriate"
For example: "She wanted to bring her new thong bikini to the water park, but didn't feel that it was app."
?
Apparently "White Fur" was #1 trending Rising Weekly for about 2 minutes last night before the infinitesimal space of algorithm's charms closed up again *^^*
I found a short story to include in "White Fur" but I'm hesitant because it dances a fine line between suicide and death.
I'm struggling to decide if I should include it.
It's well-written, honestly, but... I don't want to depress people either.
5,000 words into my very first isekai story.
I must admit, this is a challenge, and kudos to all you authors out there who make it look so damned easy.
I hate you all - but with love. ?
