I was always fascinated with Final Fantasy VIII's story-line. The idea of a land of "Gardens" and each one with its own story, but revolving around kids training to become merciless assassins. I really hoped Hollywood would do something with that someday. :love: It had a lot of promise.

It just...it ruins it for me. You see, sound effects are things you can also write out, like the "ting" of swords clashing, or the "dull orange boom" of an explosion. You can create sound effects, but just not like this, for example: The knights traded sword slashes and cuts as they stood in...

No offense whatsoever to you or anyone else, but I absolutely despise "sound effects" and they have no business being in a story - much less any writing medium. *^^* Leave the FX to the movies/comics. This is writing.

I'm of the opinion you should finish it, but first do a full, complete re-read and restructure of the book outline to the point you stopped, along with a complete "character sheet" of the players. Spend some time reading it after you've written the plots/subplots/etc., and perhaps look online...

I second the fear of clowns. I have no idea why they were created but I don't like looking at any of them. I had to fight really hard to get through. "It". *^^*
