It just seems inconceivable that this town would wait a MONTH before they start taking their frustrations out on the teacher.
A WEEK tops. the pacing is way off. *^^*
    New profile banner.
I needed something more colorful and happy and vibrant.
    *dons shades*

About this time 24 years ago, my housemate and I walked outside our front porch, dazed, crying, greatly upset.
    It was so quiet outside.
    Like the world had ended.

And then, we heard one single plane in the sky above. It seemed to circle then changed to a 180 degree direction.

We'd find out later it was Flight 93, bound for its doom in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. ?
    Just finished watching "Exhuma" again.
I love that movie to death.
A South Korean horror gem about a group of shamans and exhumation experts called upon to exhume a mysterious body from a forest - and unwittingly let loose a terrible centuries-old evil bent on revenge and power.
    See this movie. :s_eek:
"I didn’t expect to be so captivated by this, but please continue writing!"is becoming quite a frequent, annoying message in my inbox lately. *taps foot*

Nothing quite says Monday like "bot belauding". :s_tongue:

No one has written me about reviewing their chapters yet, despite my asking them to keep it private. I don't know why people are so skittish of me.
More than ever, I truly believe the very first use of the phrase "Hello, world!" in the early 1990s doomed us.
The very second someone decided it was possible to turn the world into a global stage for everyone that was it.
We honestly should have just stuck with ARPANET email. *^^*
    We would have been fine.
    Daily Report:
Housemate doing wonderfully. My former nursing skills from the Brownies are paying off. Almost full recovery apart from scabbed lips and stitches that need to be removed. I'll post chapters again next week I think.
Also, wow, close to 150 readers so far! The road to 500 and Rising Author is on. *^^*
    Just watched "Sinners" again.
I really loved it when the KKK people were machine-gunned down.
I mean, I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY LOVED IT.
I came across an old MILF story I wrote about a decade ago but I dunno how SH feels about that. I didn't see anything in the rules about older women and younger boys but, we'll see.
Would you rather read next about a Southern Miami shocker involving urban gang-bangers and werewolves?
Orrr...should I try for a comedic romance age-transforming fantasy for two childhood foxes dealing with tragedy?
    :s_eek:

    or ? to vote. *^^*
Voting ends tomorrow at midnight Eastern time.
Hope your weekend is going well, fellow writers and readers!
A little transformation fun for your Saturday:
First, another chapter in the harrowing TF story "Personal Effects" - https://shorturl.at/HrLQs
And then a hilarious and sexy romp with the otter waifu Kalea in "The Depths" fan-ficition collection called "The New Otter" - https://shorturl.at/CvPZK
    Please enjoy/like/comment! *^^*
    Okay, I give up.
I don't think I can write a successful LitRPG story for my client.
I think I'm going to say "no, thank you" and say goodbye to $250. :s_eek: :cry::cry:
I just cannot wrap my head around how someone gets "implanted" into a D&D campaign!
And wouldn't that be isekai anyway? He doesn't want isekai.
So how do you get into a D&D game if you're not isekai'd!?

but there doesn't HAVE to be a leveling system, which is my idea.
The thrill of a game like "Uncharted", for example, wasn't about leveling; it was about getting through the game to the end goal.
You only really see the leveling mania in RPGs.
So, is there something else someone could "play" for besides levels? I think there is and I intend to show that with my story. *^^*

Yes, yes, you'd play for the story, but you're writing LitRPG so you're still writing the numbers. If you didn't want to write numbers, you don't write LitRPG. But since you're being paid to write LitRPG, you're writing numbers.

Already started it, about 1,000 words in.
    I have a plan. *^^*
I'm about to turn the "isekai" world just a little bit topsy-turvy.
Practically salivating waiting for the weekend to go see "Weapons". Zach Cregger is becoming a new horror movie genius.
Not bad for the founding member of "The Whitest Kids U Know". *^^*

Jordan Peele also did some pretty cool horror movies.

I wonder... some of the people I worked with who tells the best horror stories had a background in comedy... I wonder if there is a connection...

That could explain a lot. Newcomers like Ari Aster (I still consider "Hereditary" one of the Top Ten scariest of all time), and Ti West ("X" and "Pearl") also did a few stints into comedy before getting their horror on. *^^* I'd like to see what Ti does next. Looks like Ari Aster is going to try drama again with "Eddington". I saw the trailer. Meh.
