I enjoyed that story too, but i can certainly see people hating it because a lot of things are just left unexplained.
Not so much of a good idea if you haven't touched alternative history, since some naval warfare theaters aren't being represented enough to make people care. The most famous ones were definitely Midway, though not as much people knew about the Battle of Denmark Strait, which sunk HMS Hood
