- They use the same art style
- There is exactly zero charm to them, zero originality; they come off from a conveyor belt in Korea. Every art looks the same, every character looks the same -or mimics the currently hot anime character of the time- and the smutty ones look exactly the same, and every one of their women is also the same looking blowup doll. Fucking disgrace.
- The stories are C-tier slop.
- Story? Can't call them stories. They are worse than fanfic power fantasies because, most of the time, the MCs are beta cucks with extra inferiority complexes or wannabe chads with psychotic tendencies and heavy retardation on the side.
- Did I mention that they are unimaginative?
- In both art and plot. They are just slop to scroll through fast, and the sites hosting them can promote ads at least four times before you reach the bottom. Trash.
People consuming them are branded.
People defending them are indoctrinated.
People like them have no taste.
Arguing against my points is useless because they are right.
I very much disagree with this. And your "arguing against my points is useless because they are right" just makes this opinion of yours redundant.
Yes, you're correct in what you said, no argument there, but the ending you made was as though you're trying to invalidate the existence of the actually good webtoons out there.
What you're even saying is something that's in the webnovel scenario too, only that it's worse in the Korean scene.
Like pancakes witch said, a lot of them were adapted from webnovels, so you have to blame the studios for the art, especially Redice, the folks responsible for Solo leveling.
As for actual plot, I disagree with you on that. A shit-ton of them are similar, but a lot of them do have their own unique premises and eventual twists.
And if you disregard popularity, there's actually a lot of unique manhwa that's being produced out there.
I somewhat agree with your point, but the last line peeved me.
