Looking for feedback on my new web novel

I'd say your writing has certain characteristics that are typically present in AI writing. I pointed out a few earlier. Also, it says 50% AI, so it's not conclusive. Nobody will claim your writing is AI because of that. If that number were 100% the situation would be different.

Looking for feedback on my new web novel

I think you can neither argue: "They clearly don't work" as well as "they are 100% accurate". I think people should use them as a clue, that's all.

Looking for feedback on my new web novel

Definitely sounds human. Maybe other AI detectors are a little too sensitive? I mean, the very first part sounds very... descriptive. Almost comically descpritive. It reminds me a little of AI. AI tries to do this all the time because the more descriptive the result, the better it kindles the...

Looking for feedback on my new web novel

That can't be true. If you use AI as a proofreader and only tell it to correct typos and grammatical errors, it doesn't change the writing itself, and it should always be 0%. It can happen if you tell the AI to reword awkward phrases and make small edits, which is totally okay in my opinion...

Everyone with a disabled profile should be barred from commenting or reviewing. That's a great idea. I hope someone starts it. I would be willing to help.

Why a Story Needs a Primary Antagonist (and how to find them)

Fully agree. Also you are talking about anime. I'd say your argument for novels would be even stronger.

    Looking for Work OPEN COMMISSION

I am tempted as well. Are you busy at the moment? How long would it take you to create a new cover? How long is the waiting list at the moment?

Why a Story Needs a Primary Antagonist (and how to find them)

Who is zachycards?! I am creating my own fanfiction, I just disagree with the video, at least speaking as someone who loves to read webnovels/fanfics.

Why a Story Needs a Primary Antagonist (and how to find them)

I really respect your effort in creating these videos, but honestly, it is just not true for webnovel authors. Check out the most successful stories on SH, WN, and RR, and you'll probably notice that everything you said does not apply. Central antagonists are so rare, and when they are present...

Why a Story Needs a Primary Antagonist (and how to find them)

I think if you follow those rules and try to imitate others, you'll most likely fail. If you have something funny or interesting to tell, write whatever you want. Also I don't really think LotR or City hunter are even remotely relevant for SH authors and SH readers. Coming up with stereotypical...

Why a Story Needs a Primary Antagonist (and how to find them)

Respectfully disagree. Your story does not even need antagonists at all. Many stories allow the reader to self-insert, and many readers do not care about a strong, influential antagonist; they just want to see progression and exploration.

    Can't commit to one story

I force myself to commit at least 2 to 3 hours to write a chapter for my main story (1.5k to 2.5k words). We do so many stupid things every day, like watching YouTube videos, playing games, and wasting hours on Discord. There is no real excuse not to just invest a few hours into your story. I...

Writing "Whenever you get stuck, kill a character"

When I write my story, whenever I get stuck, I'll NOT KILL A CHARACTER for a change ;-)

    Please Tear My Story Apart

Keep writing if you have fun! Maybe you could choose a more popular genre for your next story. Just take this story as a trial run where you can experiment.

    Please Tear My Story Apart

I also couldn't make it further than two chapters. I like your writing, which is 100% solid, but this doesn't draw me in. It's just boring. How about you at least introduce the fantasy elements first so we all know if it's even worth it to keep reading? I know it's cheap, but there are so many...

    Fantasy Realm

Feel free to discuss my fanfic Fantasy Realm in this thread or ask me any kind of questions you'd like to know. Meet Alex, a 28-year-old loser and internet troll who spent his life glued to his PC, binging anime, games, and movies. His story comes to an abrupt end… or so he thinks. Instead of a...
