No. Leave me be
1. Fate does provides you with boost and perks to make sure the "hero" does not lose too badly and will always on the fast track for power up. Your luck will always be high like those BS xianxia MCs who will get treasures and have narrow escapes from death.do i get any benefits with the job?
does it come with health insurance?
paid vacation?
does i receive a perfomace bonus in the end of the year if i meet the quota? this bonus is just money or a stock option?
I had to double take on your pfp.Cultivation is to fight against fate.
Back in the Seven Divine Warlord Sect in Uganda that I attended, we do not condone being a puppet of Heavenly Fate.
i see no reason to refuse than i hope that even if unpaid we can negotiate vacation...1. 2. Health insurance is considered
3. No, paid vacation is not provided.
4. Yes, funnily. Because of you being the hero, many people will incline to adore you, or at the very least, give you a hearty handjob to stay on your good side. So yeah, monetary incentives will most likely be provided.
Being a puppet of stuff in the sky is not a bad thing…Cultivation is to fight against fate.

I would. I wouldn’t care. Being a hero would force me to take on more and do more, whether I wanted to or not. Whether I was truly in control or not, I wouldn’t care, because I would appreciate someone directing my life when I am too depressed to be that force of momentum within my life (I mean, if I was just a passenger in my body from my perspective, I wouldn’t appreciate it. But if it was the more overarching destiny bs, then I’d be fine).Had this question as I recalled the hero in the 2nd world in Soul of Negary who yelled "this is unfair" after knowing that he is nothing more of a puppet for fate.
So here is my question to you, would you be the designated hero, with no understanding of your situation, be on a life of adventure and stuff and perhaps ending in a happy ending?
I mean, I will.
Who doesn't want their life to be good? No control of my own life but generally moving in a positive manner is good.
Best part might be that I will never know that I am nothing more of a chess piece.
I wouldn’t mind it. I would probably break and go insane, but I wouldn’t mind suffering. It would be colorful! Make me less monotone! As a norma human, to be a Designated Hero, You will suffering a lot.
And its not the bitter Suffering meant for normal human consumption.
Its the type of suffering that would make normal human wish for death, and nobody would blame you.
Its far preferable to suffer terminal cancer where you could simply knows that you're about to peafully die and leave the world without any fatal consequence for the world.
Dont underestimate the burden of agony of the Designated Hero.
