Thank you very much for your suggestion. I have learned it and will seriously consider making changes!

That's OK. Thank you very much!
Remember.
Its no problem to do you.
But again, its writing for self or readers. If self its fine, but if popularity, sorry but its 2024 and there is too much competition/content.
Its like : Do you know how many Vtubers that are totally anonymous compared to Hololive ? there are hundreds or even thousands if we includ very weird stuff or even amateur ones. And in china its like THE ROADS is full of people livestreaming (not a joke).
You can still continue to write serious-style (no there is no insinuation in this sentence).
But again, remember that in 2024, there are like 100 animes, 40 games, HUNDREDS of mangas, THOUSANDS OF TRANSLATED NOVELS, and like dozen hundreds of serious-style novels in ROYALROAD / SH.
SO UNLESS you got a certain "speciality" to be different than the norm, you likely wont make a splash.
Like some royalroad series, a MC be very unlucky in a wuxia world (re:zero-like) that miss modern world, another one the MC is harem full of demihumans where "weak humans" are basically like albinos genes and "harem/power-masters" from concubines,
a reincarnator that control all magics (multiverse idea BEFORE marvel),
etc
This, are some of the few popular ones.
Bc in the end Question is : Why should reader read YOURS and not COMPETITORS.
And that is why Chinese novels (raws) and JP, do so attractive covers and LONG SPOILER TITLE or very fun summaries.
Even if its dislikeable MC or a WEIRD mc like a pervert, in the end, you must be remembered. Though WARNING, you must find ways to keep your readers to come back (and not giving up, and punctuality is big factor) because its far too easy to take a break for 1 week or 1 month and bam -50% reader base.
But like with drawing.
1) If you dont give up
2) You do a lot. Punctually.
3) If you are GOOD at it
(some nowadays/old artists, their old works on danbooru are like very bad, or some recent artists were bad just 2-1years ago)
Then YES, you can succeed. (with some luck / talents)

And to add more infos, as a bonus
like drawing, some people can choose to NOT do anime things, their ceiling will be lower (compared to mainstream being about anime-things)
but still can succeed :
(but again, some ceilings are very low and most cant stick to it which is normal)
(also its fine to incorporate some small dose of anime things in serious stuff, i mean, even chineses cant anymore do serious wuxia works)
peace out-gl
[[[[[EDIT : AT THE END OF THE DAY : Novel is a product. And a product that doesnt catter to audience likes, flop. That simple. Good old logic.
Its like "psychology" or "thriller" or "horror" will rarely succeed now.
Reverse logic-example : Its like people drawing furries despite not furries-liker or hating it, because SO MUCH CASH by commisions.
Or did you know that some "faceslap" or "normal brain" chinese authors, did shitty faceslap novels OR nationalist novels SIMPLY BECAUSE readers like it ? (yes, some do totally normal author notes while the novel is like negative-IQ plot full of BS because market want it)
Or ultra good artists, i seen on danbooru, they were drawing unpopular IPs for LONG TIME, but SUDDENLY changed to a popular ones, and got like 500+ score soon. (likely they couldnt stand anymore their unpopularity). Because "theme" is GIGA IMPORTANT. With same skills, a drawing of "original" vs a smut drawing of Zenless Zero/Genshin, its easy to guess which will get "likes/popularity"and that is the sadness of "too much content" and "lack of publicity" and human psychology.]]]]]]
