It make her squint, and she hate the aftertaste. How can she hate sour food!? Sour food is delicious!!
I'm sure she'd enjoy the Fae pastries.Me not so much but I'll send my MC that would be interesting to say the least.
Hmm... add some bread crumbs and deep fry, then maybe I will eat it.Maggot-infested cheese is indeed! Bet you want to go there now, right?
After she calmed down I'm sure she would but because your world is modern she'd be running around like Jack in the nightmare before Christmas asking what's this to everything for a few days.I'm sure she'd enjoy the Fae pastries.
I want to see that so bad!!! LMFAO!! That it would be so freakin' adorable!!After she calmed down I'm sure she would but because your world is modern she'd be running around like Jack in the nightmare before Christmas asked what's this to everything for a few days.
I also don't like coconut! My male mc hate eating green, my female mc hate coconut.
I definitely agree. There rarely is a reason for it in novels. It's just not normally relevant unless you are contriving a situation to expose it. Liked foods, that is different, as I can think of a bunch that managed to put in food preferences. Now, in my case, MC does have trauma related to certain "meals," so it does matter. But as you said, normally it doesn't.I never thought about it, and tbh, it's hard to imagine it.
If a character had a trauma related to a specific meal, then sure, they'd dislike that.
Otherwise, I just have a hard time imagining them having specific likes or dislikes as far as food goes... I dunno, like... It's just such an oddly specific thingy that hardly ever matters, I guess?
If I had to choose something, probably sour and/or spicy would be disliked but... Honestly, those are just my personal preferences, really.
Dunno, just can't imagine my characters having particular food preferences for the most part. It just doesn't seem very relevant, so I never gave it any thought?
... Oh, though now that I think about it, I once had a child character in a RP that hated vegetables because... Well, dunno, just felt like it would be fun to roleplay a child that disliked veggies.
I also had a vegetarian mermaid character once because... Dunno, felt like it would be fun too.
So I guess I had some roleplay characters with food preferences before. It is a bit easier for me to imagine a purpose for liking/disliking food when in roleplays, I suppose.
But with novel characters... Dunno, never saw a reason for it, so I never thought about it. Maybe one day I'll write a story where this kind of thing comes up though. Who knows?
