she doesn't have a specific food that she hates but she's very specific about texture; if it's too soft or squishy she's fighting off the urge to vomit (actually vomit not cube) so she can't have stuff like bread pudding, soft oatmeal, and porridge unless she literally burns it to where it's crunchy

You may not understand the implications if you haven't read the story, but I would advice that you not read it.
My character's least favorite "food" is Vengeful Spirit ghost liquid and ghost body parts in general. Tasted it unwillingly with the Vengeful Spirits Masua and Enterion. Also hates octopus and maggot-infested cheese for similar reasons, but separate circumstances with The King.
How can she hate sour food!? Sour food is delicious!!
How can she hate salads?! Fruit salad! Pasta salad! Lettuce salad! Cabbage salad! SALADS ARE LIFE!!!
