Today I found out that the O zone isn't where all the Os live.

I learned that cats' fur can change color when they get older. The first picture is George when I brought him home in August when he was about two months old. The second is him today.

The phrase is insulting in the sense that the person isn't upranked by being talented, but rather due to age and stubborness of still being alive.

The context is that the senior bloodsuckers are actively killing talented young ones to elongate their pathetic lifespan and the reason why they are so strong now is because of all the time they stole.

TIL "The word meja means "table" in Indonesian and Malay language. It comes from the Portuguese word "mesa," which itself derives from the Latin "mensa".

So Half Life Black Mesa is literally Black Table.

She can do multi-aim and make the sky crackle with railgun volleys.

On this date in 1923, Clevelander Garrett Morgan was granted the patent for the first three-position traffic signal. I used to walk into City Hall when I worked there, and greeted his picture each morning. He also invented the gas mask. Since he was African-American, it took years for his accomplishments to be credited. So, thank you, Mr. Morgan, for the yellow caution light - which is of course our signal to go much faster. ? ?

TIL when right click in Excel, Word and Powerpoint, the letter shortcuts are quite clear because they already underline the letter corresponding to the function.

For example when you right click a cell, row or column in Excel, the function Copy has shortcut of letter c and Cut at letter t.

I was wondering why some functions don't have shortcut letters and then I looked up.

Shanghai is apparently the "Milan" of China. They are extraordinary obsessed with fashion and style, and there's a huge Louis Vitton statue in the middle of the city.

TIL there's a tiny 32 inch TV for monitoring a certain room tucked away at a small corner where the personnel like myself who should be using the thing can't really find it until I need to go all my way to do that.

Props for office though, I told them for 2 - 3 years the need for a screen to monitor as I blitz past the place and this is what they did.
