I hate machines gaining "sapience" when the trope was brought around the time where the world barely had mechanical calculators.

No, it didn't just grow a brain. If it did, it was purposefully written into its code. That is how we know it has no mind, soul, self, etc!

That's real life thing too some people have low self esteem or childhood trauma which makes them like that. If you are belittled for everything you do in your childhood, you ain't gonna be a confident guy.. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (Personal experience... Maybe)

I am AM... I AM!!

Not gonna lie, I do like that trope. I mean go die in ditch!!!, you are not meant to be together either way if you can't even communicate. Especially when it's bs reason.

Not gonna lie, seeing your profile I do have that urge....
Yes this. Because i get it that some things are actually hard to talk out specially if you dont have enough time or whatever but for the love of whatever that'll work, stop with the "she heard HALF of his conversation through the door and thought he hated/used her and spends the rest of the novel festering the resentment instead of going hey bitch what was that?" For me it's harem or female characters in general who were obviously just there to be eye candy. Like they don't act like real women at all. It irritates when I reading a book or watching a show where a bunch of women are fighting for an absolute loser of an MC ?

Oh and also the indecisive mc, who all the girls like because he's "nice" but really he's just indecisive and a pushover.

Also, tsunderes. They many of them are just physically or emotionally abusive then labeled as "tsundere."

Then there is the MC who wants to be low-key to stay out of trouble, but then constantly not explaining themselves or keeping certain information about themselves because it's too "troublesome" to explain, while the misunderstanding is actually causing more trouble than if they had just explained themselves. It drives me nuts, like are you sure that's less troublesome???

Lastly the overly arrogant brute MC who chooses to solve things in the most brute way possible and later cause several problems to happen later due to it. Like he defeats one enemy, because he did it in the stupidest, most brute way possible he creates like 5 more enemies ? like bro stop. Just think things through for a few seconds for once. You don't have to make a show of your power every time you kill an enemy.

I agree with most of these.

Harem genres in general is not something I enjoy because the characters are almost never well-written beyond one-note quirks, and are mostly designed to appeal to romantic fantasies. The MC is usually barely a fully-formed character and the love interests fall obsessively in love with them for the most arbitrary reasons ("they were nice to me once").

Never liked the Tsundere trope either, especially if the "tsun" is excessive to the point of abuse/toxicity, and the "dere" side is too little too late to offset their otherwise unpleasant personality.

Spending 600 chapters of a romance manga of a one guy and 12 girls. He has to figure out who the best girl is for his happily ever after. I hate it because he has no other male friends and the girls are his only friends, but that might fall apart when he chooses the one.
