What are some unpopular music opinions you have?

I think the band Pearl Jam has the most undeserved fame and popularity I have ever known out of any band inducted into the hall of fame. I swear, the lead singer's voice sounds like he's eternally about to burst into tears and its pathetically awful. I used to think the band Counting Crows was the worst because their lead singer has a voice that is awful in the same way....but MY GODS the lead singer to Pearl Jam....someone needed to jam his fucking pearl and shut him up.

Also, I love Jazz and Spanish Guitar.

dubstep is nice. it's understandable why people don't like them, but i like them. less for them, more for me.

post rock is my favourite form of rock, followed by garage rock.

the underground rap scene is one of the most progressive genres right now.

game soundtracks are miles ahead of movie soundtracks. even the licensed soundtracks are better.

hans zimmer is an okay composer.

people think modern western music is all about degeneracy when in fact, more than half of them merely scratch the surface of radio pop and billboard top 100s and then consider themselves experts on the subject.

there can never be another orchestral composition made that'll rival the likes of old, classical music pieces. i don't have a reason for this; they simply do not make them like how they used to be anymore.

music production is just as if not more important than songwriting.

the Russians are really fucking good at atmospheric synth pop for some reason.

the Chinese are really fucking good at jazz for some reason.

jpop is the best form of pop at the moment. nothing even comes close to their sounds and productions. not even their distant cousin kpop, which is also doing well at the moment. western pop is a dead horse being dragged across boiling concrete itching to reach for its Ed Sheeran glory days back in 2015.
