Well, I created this thread because I keep on getting messages on how to add images on a chapter. So yeah, I'm putting this up. Anyone who'd ask can freely check out this thread so that they would know how to put in their beautiful illustrations to accompany their stories. Or if someone asked about this on a thread, you can link this on your reply.
Alright, so without further ado, let's start.
1) First of all, you have to create an account in an image hosting site like imgur. For this tutorial, I'll be using my account in imgur, since I'm already used to it. For those who'd ask, creating an account in imgur is free, but I'm told it's not that secure if you plan to upload your original image...so it's a risk. Upload your image there first before formatting your chapter, so that it's smooth-sailing from here.
Take note: You cannot upload your image straight from your device, for SH asks for the URL of your image in the chapter formatting section, rather than the file itself.
2) Select the image you wanted to insert. For this example, I chose this close-up of Kuro's face. Copy the direct link.
3) Go to your story and edit it. For this example, I chose one of my extra chapters to edit, just to show you how it works. I clicked my cursor on that part below the line, "Oh sh*t!" because that's where I'd like my image to appear.
4) Then, hit Ctrl+V (Paste). The image should appear to indicate that you're successful in your attempt to insert the image.
Alternately, you may also use the 'Insert/Edit Image' function in the formatting bar just right above the chapter editor.
Tip: You may format the position and the size of your image directly from the chapter editor. For positioning, just click the image, and then hit the 'Align _____' function in the formatting bar. You can choose to align on the left, center or right side of the chapter, by the way. In this example, I chose to align the image on the center.
As for resizing the image, you can click on the image and look for those small white squares at the corners. Hover your mouse over one of those, and when the icon changes, drag it to resize the illustration. Take care of resizing, as it would affect the appearance of the image on the computer and phone, and it can get ugly if you're not careful.
Here's the slightly bigger version of the image I inserted.
5) Once you are satisfied with your image, click 'Update' to save your formatting. Then hit 'Preview' to check if it looks good, before releasing your chapter.

So that's how you add the images in a chapter.
