You don't like tough women?
I do, but just from afar. I mean, I love their spunk, but I don't like myself getting involved with them. I prefer peace and quiet, so I'll only admire them from some distance.

In my experience, these are the ones who'd drag me anywhere, even when I don't want to go, and I don't want to.

While there's a previous thread about your preference in writing characters, I ask, what is the type of character 'partner' or 'lead' (male/female/other) you want to write?

For me, I love writing FMCs that can fight, think rationally, have their own ambitions relative to the main character and actual use in the story. I hated character leads written just to magnify the qualities of the 'hero'/'heroine'.

Even as when I'm writing an isekai harem story.
If I understand what the question is, my favorite partner to the MC to write would probably be (sadly don't have it in paper yet, but it will see the light of the day in "Charisma"!; the quirky elf - with a tragic backstory that is really hard to focus on because he is such a horny, hilarious arrogant person - whose mad scientist/alchemist shenanigans he does in the name of creating the perfect fursona. He is arrogant chaos incarnate.
I'm a ronin, so I don't give a care about your honor. If I ever show up to duel you, you can bet you have a sniper rifle trained to your head, just in case I started to lose...
