I'll read other stories for 'Inspiration' instead of writing whatever previous ideas were 'inspired' by stories I read for inspiration.

It's part of why nothing's posted yet.

A character has red hair. Her name is Merah.
And it still sound sexy when said with english accent

Procrastinate taking notes and just hope I can remember my inspirations on the top of my head-nyah.
We dont need notes, we're genius! We alway remember everything that inspired us, like when i'm thinking to write about a land dragon, wait... or is it a water dragon...

I skip editing.

A few hours of writing, means a few hours of editing, and that's only if I'm correcting spelling or grammar mistakes.
Most times reading what I wrote turns into, i don't like the way i phrased that, or this could use more detail, or this is all wrong- I'll just redo this paragraph, which then turns into, but now this doesn't make sense, what did I write before? reference check! and etc etc etc of bull that my frazzled brain can't handle with each and every post. That's why you pay your editors the big moneys.. Editing sucks. Unless it's your passion, then you suck. jk. you're a godsend. but I don't want to do it, and I don't have money. So, no editing for me.

What is editing?

the laziest thing to do as an author is to not write and instead playing games where I should've finished one arc of one of my projects

Laziest?

I would say that I don't always research anything when it comes to getting something 100% accurate. I don't care too much about historical accuracy at times - and I'm a history major. *^^* ? ?

That's so much as a writer but compared to writing with DND I name characters

Elara
Telara
Belara

So I get a bit lazy with my own characters and a D&D campaign compared to writing normally

When I was younger and wrote on my phone, all of my characters had three letter names so I could type faster.

All of the horrors from the stars and beyond comprehension are named I translated from Arabic, sometimes Hebrew.

Is it racist? Potentially, all of those words look very foreign to me. Do I care? No, as someone who participate in competitive racism (being SEAsian), I don't particularly care

The laziest thing I do? Not tell other authors what they are doing wrong to avoid feuds.
