In Skyrim, you regularly delve into ancient ruins, or sections of ruins, that have not been opened in millennia.
Usually you are the one to unseal them in the first place.
They are inhabited by nothing but hordes of undead.
They are also stocked with fresh fruit, and their halls are lit with plentiful torches and candles.

@Arkus86 You probably didn't know this. But there are a few designated crypt zombies that go into towns for restocking the crypt. They also do missions to make money to buy supplies, like chopping woods and harvesting crops. Half of Skyrim's economy is undead activity.
