If the character is based on you, you might as well use your own ideas since they'll be authentic.

Hang out and play video games or tabletop games.
Depending on the age, go to the same workplace.
Participate in school sports or after-school groups (like Drama or debate) together.
Chat on the phone or online.

You never specified ages. They could have been 18 and 19, which are both still teens.
And? I also specified that they’re sisters! Unrelated sisters, but still sisters!

Ah, but I shall be authentic. The character is going to search online and ask their writing forum friends for help “writing a character”, when she’s actually asking help for herself!? Meta, right?

The Mall.
Sports events.
Dances (especially crashing private ones for the more rebellious kids)
Hanging out at a popular restaurant/diner (though this KIND of went out in the 60s, it was typified by things like Arnold's Restaurant in Happy Days, or Pop's Choklit Shoppe in Archie comics and the Riverdale TV series).
Hanging out in parking lots (this was more a 70s thing... and often ended up with someone doing stupid things in or to one or more cars).
Gaming - either at an arcade, or playing board or card games, or even the more "social" Role Playing games.

Pranking friends or enemies.
For friends, getting a roll of movers plastic wrap and a wireless hairdryer. Wrap the friends car and then use the hair dryer to make it shrink.
For enemies, depending on how bad they are, how malicious your characters are-pour liquid fart onto the sunroof of the car so they get a nasty surprise.
And well a potato up the tail pipe might not do anything, expanding spray foam is less forgiving.

Go to cemeteries and dig out the graves, I think that's an interesting teenage activity. All jokes aside, I think going to malls to shop or going to cinemas are common activities.

River is trying to find healthier activities for Riley that Riley isn’t already doing… :sweating_profusely: no need to encourage Riley…:sweating_profusely:

The stereo type for teenagers is that they make decisions based on what is socially acceptable.

So what they do is less important than who will be there.

That is true… but in the current environment of River and Riley, there is a lot that is socially acceptable that I, and by the same token, River, am trying to avoid…
Like serial killing and human experimentation as a family past time. :sweating_profusely:

We used to hang out in Cemetaries. Even watched some college kids play Frisbee Golf at one once. Never did any digging though, just wandered around and talked about coming back after dark, but never did.
