Then I would just be writing a worse version of your story, rather than my own story. That is the point of this. Word count is a limiting factor. I cannot both write what I am writing, while writing what you are writing, all at the same pace and in the same physical space as just my novel. That's the point.

The implication from the rest of the thread is that either you think I should, or you misinterpreted me saying that "I dropped kingdom building novels" for those reasons meant that I think everyone dislikes them for that reason. I don't think that. I said, "My target audience feels the way I feel about it." Meaning the hypothetical audience that I target feels that way. Not everyone, not a majority.

Don't put words in my mouth either.

Unless your previous post was just a non-sequitur to the rest of the thread, then I guess :blob_hmm_two:
