Stop AI Witch-hunting!

Words have meanings, and what OtherSlater did was by no means a witch hunt, it was a general call akin to 'hey we should probably not do this'. I get the impression that your feathers got kind of ruffled by that and now you're holding a grude. Which is fine! I've blocked a few of the writers on here myself for some stuff they said.

And if you're fine with slop being the face of your writing there's nothing I can do to stop you.

They dislike me so much I think anything I say would be taken in bad faith. Somehow me saying “it’s hypocritical to call out one thing but use the other, maybe we should support real art” is actually “I WANT WRITERS BROKE AND STARVING!” so I don’t take them seriously anymore lol

You're a hypocrite if the witch hunt only becomes a bad thing when the torches and pitchforks are being pointed at you. Which is exactly what's happening here. OtherSlater was more than happy to sic the anti-AI mob on people who didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a cover for a book they weren't making money off of, but the minute people started saying his writing might be AI generated, he immediately changed his tune and started preaching about how bad accusing people of using AI is.

He doesn't think it's possible to support real artists and still think people like him are insufferable entitled narcissists for demanding that other people spend money on entertainment he's getting for free, and that's honestly the funniest thing about all of this.
