[RELEASE] The Probability of Wealth — A Deep-Dive into Market Logic and Conspiracies

Today marks a significant milestone for me. After 18 months of research, drafting, and refining the internal logic of this world, I am finally releasing
"The Probability of Wealth" on Scribble Hub and Webnovel.

This project started with a simple, haunting question: What happens to a person when the gap between the model and the market disappears?

I wanted to move away from the standard "System" tropes where power is granted without cost or explanation. Instead, I’ve spent the last year and a half building a narrative where the "System" is a clinical, high-stakes piece of corporate AI—and the protagonist, James Smith, is a boy who has to survive the billionaires who want their technology back.

The Story: James started with nothing but his grandfather’s bank statement showing 43 euros. Now, after an incident in a Sasung research facility, he sees the world through a lens of probabilistic signals. But in the world of high finance, being "too right" is a death sentence.

What to expect:

• A Rational, High-IQ Lead: No "idiot plots" or forced drama. Every move is calculated.
• Realistic Finance & Law: From short-selling on margin to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance.
• Techno-Thriller Stakes: It begins with a trade and ends with a global conspiracy.

I’ve poured a lot into the technical accuracy and the psychological weight of this story. I’m releasing the first 20 chapters today as a massive opening drop so you can truly sink into the world I’ve been building.

I only skimmed a few chapters, but the premise caught my attention. Fantasy with an economy-focused system is a rare combo, and the fact you spent 18 months on research really shows commitment.

That said, from my perspective, it might help readability if some of the trading terms and jargon were explained a bit more, especially for readers who mainly come from a light novel background. Right now, there’s a bit of language barriers to entry. (Maybe some author's notes about those term can help without breaking the immersion? maybe)

Similarly, using real company names (when possible) could make things easier to follow. At the moment, normal readers are juggling multiple barriers at once (French, trading jargon, and altered names) which can feel overwhelming if they’re not already familiar with at least two of those.

Of course, your thread here not necessarily looking for feedback, so feel free to throw my opinion to the gutter. Just thought I’d share my impression.

I’m glad the 18 months of research comes through—I’m definitely aiming for that rare 'crunchy' economic realism. You make a great point about the 'barriers to entry,' though. When you’ve been neck-deep in trading jargon for a year and a half, it’s easy to forget how dense it can feel to a fresh pair of eyes!

I actually love the idea of Author’s Notes. I'll look into adding a 'Finance Glossary' or some brief, non-intrusive footnotes in future chapters to help bridge that gap without slowing down the pacing. As for the naming conventions and the French setting, I’ll keep a close eye on how readers are handling the 'load'—I want the complexity to feel rewarding, not exhausting.

I recommend you also post in RR, wattpad, and try to find sites that have many adult readers.
Your story is niche. To get that small numbers of niche readers, you need to do extra on the distributions.

That's just how RR works. Unless you're an established author, your story will only start doing well after you pay for ads. Visibility is very pay to win.
