See even now you start debating instead of understanding or trying to understand. This is my problem. People don't see something and ask, "how can I understand this?" They see it and think, "how can I prove this wrong?" Either that, or their kneejerk defensive reaction makes them rush to say something the OP is not even saying.

Oddly enough, this statement reminds me of when I couldn't figure out my calculus problems in university. i would just post the wrong answer on reddit claiming it was right, and then let those people who needed to be right correct my work =) not sure if it would work these days, they might be on to that life hack now
