I made threads before about ways that I believe people should write. Like writing to entertain, but in those threads, people will make a ghost to argue with. "Are you saying we can't write for ourselves?"

Also, I know some of them aren't actually dumb. Some are just trolls, and they say not to feed trolls. But I have some leftovers, and I am shoving them down your throat.

Well, you should define the focus of your discussion. Readers can interpret it differently if your writing is general. I misunderstood this too.

If you limit your focus from the start to just tips for writing fiction that "entertain" readers, then readers won't bother asking me if I write fiction for myself.

That's why a problem statement is important, even if we're not writing a scientific article.

I think your opinion is debatable... I always start the discussion on my thread with the problem statement and the audience knows what the relevant answer is based on the question and it's often not boring.

See even now you start debating instead of understanding or trying to understand. This is my problem. People don't see something and ask, "how can I understand this?" They see it and think, "how can I prove this wrong?" Either that, or their kneejerk defensive reaction makes them rush to say something the OP is not even saying.
