Bicycles were invented when most roads were dirt tracks or cobblestone, and there's still a reason they caught on; you can ride them across fields, too. Anything a wooden-wheeled transport coach or cart could travel on can be handled by a bicycle. I mean, people been using horse-drawn carts and chariots for thousands of years, and the modern bicycle uses metal axles and flexible tires that are way more durable, much faster on less power due to mechanical engineering (gears), and don't require a horse.the... roads aren't that paved and straight, so your anal gonna have a field day.
But I could totally specify a durable-wheel 10-speed off-road bicycle; there's definitely no reason to take a racing bike, for the generator either!
