So many nice folks are giving back to the community by giving good feedback. I shall do the opposite and look through a few lines of your novel and only give reactions images. (some words).

Thus, what I am giving is my visceral emotional turmoil while reading your chapter. Letting you interpret how the reader is thinking throughout the sections and doing your own "figure what the feedback is."

I am terrible at giving constructive criticism, this will be purely useless info. (Take it with salt 🧂or else I will shame you)

CLANK.

Coins clanked as Aegis tossed the pouch into the air.

SPLAT

His tattered leather boots stepped on something. He lifted his boot to see what it was—

"Great! A Klucking hound decided to grace me with its filth." He threw his arms up in irritation, wiping his boot against the stone.
Kluckin bell?

Am I forgetting something? Suddenly, the whole arena vibrated, interrupting his thoughts.

Eh, it must be nothing.
I felt interrupted

This spot looks good. He approached a spot beside the obsidian pillar. Beside him stood an old fiend, the stench of his sweat invaded his nostrils.

An involuntary gag. With haste, he covered his mouth and ignored the smell.
Huh
The railing rattled against his belly as screams battered his ears.
Belly?

As Aegis turned his head, a young fiend girl with dark-red skin stood to his right, her orange pupils seething with rage. Before Aegis could form a word, a fist landed with familiar affection. He bent and held his stomach and looked at her.

Huh?

"A CHAMPION BEYOND ABADDON, "

The crowd was ready to roar once again.

"... A CORRUPTED ELDARI. "

"HIS NAME IS ANANKE! "

A thunderous roar erupted but soon fell silent. Footsteps echoed around the arena. A Hooded Eldari stepped into the arena.

Ananke removed his hood, revealing his face. His gaze swept the arena, emerald-green eyes scanning every face before halting on Aegis.

Verdict : Ok. I am abit confuse but ok.

Ooooh! Me!
I already read yours :blob_melt: and I like it. But here is your first chapter reaction since you asked.

White.

Everything was white and glowing, with a thin mist drifting lazily in every direction. No walls. No floor. No ceiling. Just endless white.

Which immediately gave him the creeping suspicion that this place looked suspiciously like either heaven or an Apple Store.

Considering he was an Android user, he figured the first option seemed far more likely.

A crossroad.
A cat crossing the street.
A truck approaching fast.
Nooooo

Realistically, he chose Option Two.

He was more of a dog person anyway.

Approved

“THAT FUCKING TRUCK-KUN!!”

A man in his thirties. Mild beer belly. Receding hairline. Not ugly. Not handsome. Just… average. Painfully average. The kind of average that could be improved with effort—effort that required money.

I'm ok with that

“It’s… it’s a…” Solo squinted harder. “…Is this Google?”

Floating in front of him was a familiar sight.

A plain Google homepage.

White background.
Colorful logo.
A single search bar.

An orc.

He had been turned into a fucking orc.

“Oink oink—oi—FUCK!”

Part 1
Ooooh! Me!

Part 2

“Alex Solomon… no one calls me a bitch and gets away with it. Enjoy your one hundred and thirty years of suffering.”

“In the end, you will beg me to end your pathetic life.”

Great Demon Gate

A figure stepped calmly out of the dust.

Tall. Well-groomed. Wearing sleek modern businessman suit and glasses.

Unarmed.

But behind him marched a company of demonfolk infantry, each holding an M4A1 rifle with practiced ease. Dozens of Humvees rolled forward, their mounted .50 caliber M2 Browning machine guns glinting in the light. A platoon of M1 Abrams tanks rumbled behind them.

Above, four AH-64 Apaches hovered steadily.

HELL YEAH

“People of Talvaris,” he said calmly,
“We come in peace.”
Oh peace...ok

Verdict : War time!

This looks hilarious :blobrofl:
Here you go: Truth Beyond the Veil
Feel free to skip the prologue (chapter 0)

Sure.

These days, it’s rare to see both parents and children under the same roof. But this, too, is a part of life, and with survival being the priority, it was simply to be expected.

Basement dweller?

"Okay, guys, let’s stop here. I have to write the assignments,” Victor said as he looked at the wall clock. It read 2:00.

"Shit, I haven't done mine yet ... " Leo’s anguished cry came immediately.

He saw the pitch-black night sky, which had no moon,

Da moon gone?

He unlocked his phone and started dialing, unaware that the stars that he was gazing at became dark red. While he was browsing his phone, the stars grew more eerie and blood red with each passing second, yet weirdly, no one seemed to notice it at all, as if everything was an illusion.
Should probably look away from the phone.

“Did a spider bite me? Will I become Spider-Man? ...” These were his last thoughts before his brain completely shut down.

Spidey?

“My balls… no... not there… not there too”. These were his last thoughts before he lost consciousness.

Where they go?

Yes, all this charade was for a mosquito. Theo had specially come here in the middle of the night, not only to relax but also to hunt… hunt mosquitoes. From his actions, a deep grudge could be felt.

I agree...they are getting bigger

Victor woke up groggy; he was feeling weirdly energetic yet somehow sleepy and drained at the same time. He gave himself a once-over and then grabbed his phone to check the time.

“OH NO… oh no... oh no no no no—NOT today!”

"Shit… not today!" Victor cussed as he ran desperately to freshen up and go to college

huh?

Verdict : It's too damn slow. I'm not hooked.
Missing some special sauce...a wow moment. But maybe its a slow melancholic story so it shld be ok.
But generally really well written.
But thats just my attention span brain so do continue your writing journey with happiness!

This is taking too much effort. Yes.

A meme image review?
I want that.

As a meme queen whose story is very cringe humor/meme coded, I want that even more.

Let's go!!!!
Dang...where the chapter numbers at...I'm bad at math

Suzan didn't stop. Suzan never stopped.

Susan going fast!

She polished her boots, except for the streaks of mud she carefully applied.

Dirty polished shoes? Huh

Evening fell like a royal curtain over the city. Lamplight shimmered across white walls and gold balconies. Pigeons found their nightly perches and began their gossip in earnest.

Pigeons gossip?

The girls walked through the Noble Quarter, where homes looked more expensive than some small kingdoms and probably had chandeliers in their closets.

What they hanging in there?

She tiptoed behind a marble column and peeked into the small plaza behind the Velvet Sphinx Inn. Five cloaked men sat at a table that practically screamed Definitely Up To Something.

Now now...we are getting hasty here...assuming

The cloaked men froze. They blinked, surprised.

She blinked back, excited.

Then one of them smiled.

Not the kind of smile you'd want.

Lily, still half in shadow, nearly tripped over her own feet trying to reach her. "Suzan—no!"

Too late.

Suzan was already in the middle of something she didn't understand.

And someone had just taken interest in her.

Uh oh...not in front of the children

Verdict : Heyo, got my attention. I get their immediate situation of them being rascals. Good writing. Me like.
